Abstract

Tujuan dari magang industri di CV. Karya Makmur Sejahtera ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbaikan proses retanning wet blue sapi artikel full grain upper. Fokus dari permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah pada trial pertama kulit kurang berisi, dampaknya kulit belum memenuhi pengujian organoleptis dan mendapatkan penolakan dari customer. Pada permasalahan ini maka dilakukan perbaikan formulasi pada proses retanning II. Bahan baku yang digunakan adalah kulit wet blue sapi sebanyak 2 side dengan berat total 10 kg dan tebal 1,03 mm. Perbaikan formulasi dilakukan pada trial kedua dengan menambahkan bahan resin disiandiamida yaitu tysintan RT-7 sebanyak 2%. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan formulasi didapatkan hasil kulit memenuhi pengujian organoleptis yaitu kulit berisi. Hasil pengujian fisis trial kedua untuk pengujian kuat tarik memiliki nilai 232,34 kg/cm2, pengujian perpanjangan putus memiliki nilai 59,73%, dan pengujian kuat sobek memiliki nilai 32,21 kg/cm. Hasil tersebut telah memenuhi SNI 0234-2009 Syarat Mutu Kulit Boks upper. The purpose of an industry internship at CV. The focus of the problems faced is that in the first trial the skin is less filled, the impact of the skin has not fulfilled organoleptic testing and has received rejection from the customer. In this problem, the formulation is improved in the retanning II process. The raw material used was 2 sides of wet blue cow skin with a total weight of 10 kg and 1.03 mm thick. Improvement of the formulation was carried out in the second trial by adding a disiandiamide resin material, namely tysintan RT-7 as much as 2%. After repairs to the formulation, the skin results obtained meet the organoleptic test, which is skin filled. The results of physical testing of the second trial for tensile strength testing had a value of 232.34 kg / cm2, breakout extension testing had a value of 59.73%, and tear strength testing had a value of 32.21 kg / cm. These results have met SNI 0234-2009 Upper Box Leather Quality Requirements.
