Abstract

PT. Sumber Citra Persada merupakan perusahaan di bidang industri persepatuan.Salah satu jenis sepatu yang diproduksi adalah sepatu sneaker dengan merek Camel. Proses lasting diawali dengan persiapan upper. Konstruksi upper sepatu sedikit berbeda pada bagian lasting allowance. Lasting allowance biasanya menjadi satu dengan pola upper, namun pada sepatu ini upper disambung dengan lasting allowance menggunakan jahit zig zag. Permasalahan yang ditemui pada saat melaksanakan magang di perusahaan berupa kerutan (wrinkle) pada bagian lasting allowance. Tujuan dari karya akhir ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan, penyebab serta memberi solusi pada masalah tersebut. Metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Data kemudian dianalisis menggunakan 5W + 1H. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan kerutan lasting allowance mengakibatkan rongga pada penempelan out sole dan posisi out sole miring.S olusi dari penyelesaian masalah tersebut berupa pemotonganlasting allowance dengan potongan berbentuk segtiga, lebar potongan sebesar 1 cm pada bagian samping depan sebanyak 2 sampai 3 ptongan tergantung ukuran sepatu. Ukuran 41 sampai dengan 44 pp dipotong sebanyak 2 bagian. Ukuran 45 sampai dengan 48 pp dipotong sebanyak 3 bagian yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi bahan. Hasil penerapan usulan perbaikan sudah jauh berkurang bahkan sudah tidak ada lagi kerutan. PT. Sumber Citra Persada is a firm in shoe manufacture industry. One of shoe that producted is sneaker shoes with Camel as the brand/merk. Lasting Process is started by preparing upper. Construction upper shoes a little bit different in the part lasting allowance usually, lasting allowance be comes only with upper pattern. However the shoes upper is connected with lasting allowance by sewing zig zag. The problem that found when do internship in the firm is wrinkle at the lasting allowance part. The purpose of the final project is to identification problem, cause and give solution in the problem. The method of submiting the datas are observation, interview, documentation and pustaca book study. Then the data is analyze to use 5W + 1H. Based on the observation wrinkle lasting allowance result a hole in the sticking out sole and the out sole position becomes oblique. The solution from this arrangement is cutting lasting allowance with pieces of triangel-shaped. The width of the pieces of 1 cm on the side of the front as much as 2 to 3 pieces depends on the shoes. Size 41 until 44 pp’ is cut as much as 2 parts. Size 45 until to 48 pp cut as much as 3 sections aims to reduce the material. The results of the implementation of the proposed improvements are already much reduce even directly no more wrinkles
