Abstract

PT. Primarindo Asia Infrastructure Tbk. merupakan perusahaan di bidang persepatuan dengan merk dagang tomkins yang beralamat di Jl. Raya Ranca Bolang No.98 Gedebage, Bandung, Jawa Barat. Materi yang diamati selama kegiatan magang adalah proses produksi sampel sepatu dan mengamati bentuk cacat produksi. Pengamatan dilakukan selama satu setengah bulan dari tanggal 18 Februari 2019 sampai 29 Maret 2019. Permasalahan yang terjadi dalam proses pembuatan sampel sepatu adalah insole yang digunakan terlalu besar tidak sesuai dengan acuan yang dipakai, dan mesin lasting yang digunakan belum disesuaikan dengan bentuk acuan. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui permasalahan yang terjadi, mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kesalahan, dan memberikan solusi untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, praktek kerja lapangan dan pengumpulan data sekunder. Penyebab timbulnya masalah yang terjadi adalah insole terlalu besar, mesin lasting belum disesuaikan dan kesalahan pekerja karena karyawan kurang teliti. Dari permasalahan yang terjadi dilakukan perbaikan dengan cara insole disesuaikan dengan bentuk telapak acuan, dan mesin lasting yang akan digunakan disesuaikan dengan bentuk acuan yang dipakai. Hasil dari perbaikan dapat mengurangi kesalahan dalam proses pembuatan sampel sepatu. PT. Primarindo Asia Infrastructure Tbk. is a company in the field of footwear with a trademark Tomkins which is located at Jl. Raya Ranca Bolang No.98 Gedebage, Bandung, West Java. The material observed during the internship was the shoe sample production process and observed the forms of production defects. Observations were made for one and a half months from February 18, 2019 to March 29, 2019. The problem that occurs in the shoe sample making process is that the insole used is too large not in accordance with the shoe last used, and the lasting machine used has not been adjusted to the shoe last shape. The purpose of the research is to find out the problems that occur, know the factors that cause errors, and provide solutions to solve problems. The methods used in the study are observation, interviews, documentation, field work practices and secondary data collection. The cause of the problem that occurred was that the insole was too large, the machine had not been adjusted and the worker was wrong, because the employee was not careful. Of the problems that occur, the insole is repaired according to the shape of the shoe last palm, and the lasting machine to be used is adjusted to the shoe last shape used. The results of repairs can reduce errors in the shoe sample making process.
