Abstract

PT Tirta Investama Legos merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang produksi galon air minum. Dalam proses produksinya PT Tirta Investama belum mencapai zero defect. Terdapat banyak jenis cacat produk yang terjadi, dan cacat yang sering terjadi yaitu cacat Bintik Hitam. Cacat Bintik Hitam merupakan defect visual yang terdapat pada permukaan produk galon. Terjadinya cacat Bintik Hitam pada produk dapat mengganggu dalam proses produksi karena diharuskan mengulang proses yang sama untuk menghindari reject, untuk itu perlu dilakukan upaya meminimalisasi cacat produk Bintik Hitam. Untuk mengetahui penyebab cacat Bintik Hitam digunakanstudi literatur. Hasilnya menunjukkan faktor penyebab terjadinya produk cacat Bintik Hitam yaitu : Material, Mesin, Parameter Proses. PT Tirta Investama Legos is a company engaged in the production of drinking water gallons. In the production process, PT Tirta Investama has not reached zero defect. There are many types of product defects that occur, and the defects that often occur are Black Spot defects. Black Spot Defects are visual defects found on the surface of gallon products. The occurrence of Black Spot defects in the product can interfere with the production process because it is required to repeat the same process to avoid rejecting, so efforts need to be made to minimize product defects in Black Spot. To find out the cause of the defect Black Spot was used in the literature study. The results show the factors that cause Black Spot defect products, namely: Material, Machine, Process Parameters.
