Abstract

PT. Exmud Potensial Kreatif adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang produksi sepatu. Salah satu sepatu yang diproduksi yaitu sepatu dengan merek Brodo. Permasalahan yang terjadi di perusahaan adalah berkaitan dengan grading pola yang kurang akurat. Hasil grading pola cara fotokopi yang digunakan perusahaan ukurannya kurang tepat bila dibandingkan dengan sistem grading manual. Hal tersebut menyebabkan ukuran pola menjadi lebih besar atau lebih kecil dari yang seharusnya, mempengaruhi kenyamanan pakai sepatu, pengeluaran bahan dan biaya berlebihan yang dapat merugikan pihak perusahaan. Tujuan dari tugas akhir ini adalah memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan grading pola menggunakan cara fotokopi. Koreksi persentase ukuran cara fotokopi untuk grading pola upper di perusahaan dilakukan dan dibandingkan berdasarkan teori yang telah dipelajari di kampus yaitu dengan cara grading manual menggunakan radial tool. Metode yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan tugas akhir ini yaitu melalui eksperimen antara lain melakukan grading pola manual dan pengurangan persentase standar yang digunakan perusahaan. Selain itu dilakukan pembuatan sampel berdasarkan masing-masing sistem grading. Hasil eksperimen pada sepatu Brodo yang ada pada artikel Generic Play menunjukkan bahwa hasil dari grading pola standar di perusahaan kurang akurat dan terlalu besar atau terlalu kecil dibandingkan dengan grading sistem manual, hal ini dikarenakan besarnya tingkat persentase ukuran pada saat fotokopi. Dengan mengurangi interval persentase menjadi sebesar 2% per satuan ukuran, hasil pola grading fotokopi lebih mendekati ukuran pola grading sistem manual. Maka penurunan persentase ukuran fotokopi pada saat melakukan proses grading dengan interval 2% per satuan ukuran bisa digunakan oleh perusahaan dengan hasil grading pola lebih akurat. PT. Exmud Potential Kreatif is a company engaged in the production of shoes. One of the shoes produced is Brodo brand shoes. The problems that occur in the company are related to pattern grading that is less accurate. The results of the photocopy pattern grading used by the company are less precise when compared to the manual grading system. This causes the size of the pattern to be larger or smaller than should be, affecting the comfort of wearing shoes, spending on materials and excessive costs that can harm the company. The purpose of this final project is to provide a solution to the problem of pattern grading using photocopying methods. Percentage size of the photocopy method for upper pattern grading in the company compared based on the theory that has been studied in the campus used manual grading with radial tool. The method used to complete this final assignment is through experiments such as manual pattern grading and reduction in the standard percentage used by the company. In addition, samples are made based on each grading system. Based on the experimental results on Brodo shoes in the Generic Play article, it shows that the results of standard pattern grading in the company are less accurate and too large or small compared to manual system grading, this is because the level of the percentage of size when copying. By reducing the percentage interval to 2% per unit of measure, the results of the photocopy grading pattern are closer to the size of the manual system grading pattern. Then lowering percentage of the size of copies at the time of the grading process at intervals of 2% per unit of measurement can be used by companies with more accurate results grading patterns.
