Abstract

PT. Daimatu Industry Indonesia, merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi alas kaki. Sandal Lee ZYGFELE 919 adalah salah satu produk yang diproduksi di PT. Daimatu Industry Indonesia. Sandal Lee ZYGFELE 919 terbuat dari PVC birco dan EVA Rubber. Pada proses assembling ada masalah yaitu kerekatan tidak maksimal pada upper dengan outsole (bonding gap). Tujuan penyusunan karya akhir ini adalah mengetahui proses pembuatan sandal Lee, menganalisis faktor-faktor penyebab kerekatan tidak maksimal antara upper dengan outsole dan memberikan solusi pada masalah tersebut. Metode yang dilakukan untuk menyelesaikan karya akhir ini adalah dengan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, studi pustaka, dan praktik kerja langsung. Hasil analisis masalah tadi bersumber dari operator atau karyawan yaitu pengolesan lem dan primer kurang merata. Solusi dari permasalahan tersebut adalah pemberian arahan kepada karyawan sebelum produksi, meningkatkan kerja sama tim, perawatan mesin primer dan TL, pengerjaan lem tipis dan merata pada upper dan outsole. PT. Daimatu Industry Indonesia, is a company that manufactures footwear. Lee ZYGFELE 919 sandals is one of the products produced at PT. Daimatu Industry Indonesia. Lee ZYGFELE 919 slipper made of PVC rubber and EVA Rubber. In the assembly process there is a problem, namely the adhesive is not maximal on the outsole with upper (bonding gap). The purpose of this final assignment is to study the pocess of making slipper, analyze the adhesive factors not maximal between upper with outsole, and provide a solution to the problem. The method used to complete this final assignment is by observation, interview, documentation, literature study, and direct work practice. The results of the analysis of the problem is to provide direction to employees, namely glue and primer finishing less flat. The solution to this problems is to provide direction to employees before production, improve teamwork, maintain primary and TL, do thin and even glue on upper and outsole.
