Abstract

Kegiatan pelaksanaan tugas akhir dilakukan di PT. Mastrotto Indonesia, Bogor, Jawa Barat. Tujuan tugas akhir ini adalah memberikan pemecahan masalah terhadap rendahnya ketahanan gosok lapisian finishing artikel boven madras. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan tugas akhir ini yaitu observasi, wawancara dan praktek kerja langsung di PT. Mastrotto Indonesia. Metode kerja langsung yang digunakan yaitu dengan spraying. Bahan baku sebesar 2 sqft yang digunakan yaitu kulit sapi boven madras crust dyed. Tahapan finishing kulit upholstery boven madras dengan kode warna M7148 meliputi crust selection, staking, spraying (base coat), rest, embossing, spraying (medium coat), milling, spraying (top coat), staking, rest, dan lab test. Hasil pengujian dengan menggunakan penambahan silicon 2 gram didapatkan hasil gray scale 4 (Kelunturan sedikit) sedangkan dengan menggunakan cross linker 15 gram dan silicon 2 gram didapatkan hasil nilai skala greyscale nilai 5 (Tidak luntur).Sehingga dapat di simpulkan bahwa penmabahan cross linker dan silicon dapat meningkatkan ketahan gosok kulit artikel boven madras . The final project was carried out at PT. Mastrotto Indonesia, Bogor, West Java. The purpose of this final project is to provide a solution to the problem of the low resistance of rubbing boven madras finishing articles. The method used in the implementation of this final project is observation, interviews and direct work practices at PT. Indonesian Mastrotto. The direct working method used is spraying. The raw material of 2 sqft used is cow leather boven madras crust dyed. Stages of upholstery boven madras leather finishing with color code M7148 include crust selection, staking, spraying (base coat), rest, embossing, spraying (medium coat), milling, spraying (top coat), staking, rest, and lab tests. The test results using the addition of 2 grams of silicon obtained gray scale 4 results (a slight drop) while using a cross linker 15 grams and silicon 2 grams obtained the value of the scale value of greyscale 5 (not fade). So that it can be concluded that cross linker and silicon additions can increase the durability of boven madras article skin scrub.
