Abstract

Penyusunan karya akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengatasi permasalahan yang ditemukan selama kegiatan magang di PT. Primarindo Asia Infrastructure Tbk., permasalahan yang diambil untuk diatasi adalah lasting miring pada model sepatu The Oath. Dalam pengumpulan data digunakan dua metode, yaitu metode pengumpulan data primer dan metode pengumpulan data sekunder. Metode pengumpulan data primer dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, sedangkan metode pengumpulan data sekunder dilakukan dengan cara studi pustaka maupun melalui jurnal yang berkaitan dengan permasalahan yang akan dibahas. Hasil dari pengamatan yang telah dilakukan selama kegiatan magang adalah ditemukannya masalah cacat lasting miring pada model sepatu The Oath. Permasalahan yang ditemukan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan alat bantu diagram sebab akibat (fishbone). Ada dua faktor yang mempengaruhi cacat lasting miring, yaitu metode dan SDM. Dalam faktor metode ditemukan permasalahan bahwa teknik pengerjaan saat pemasangan acuan terhadap shoe upper tidak sesuai dengan standard yang sudah ditentukan, dan tidak ada SOP yang tertulis. Selanjutnya dalam faktor SDM ditemukan permasalahan bahwa karyawan saat mengerjakan pemasangan acuan tidak teliti dan tergesa-gesa agar dapat mencapai target produksi dengan maksimal. Hal tersebut dapat menyebabkan hasil akhir sepatu masuk dalam kategori Grade-B. Masalah tersebut dapat diatasi dengan pembuatan SOP tertulis yang menjelaskan mengenai pemberian tanda agar upper lurus dan seimbang antara in dan out serta diadakan briefing untuk karyawan. The preparation of this final work is to identify and overcome the problem was found during the internment at PT. Primarindo Asia Infrastructure Tbk., the problem taken to care of is tilted lasting on the oath model shoes. In data collection there are two methods, the primary data collection method and the secondary data collection method. Primary data collection methods are done in observation, interviews and documentation, while secondary data collection methods are done in library studies as well as through journals relating to the issues to be discussed. A result of observation made during an apprenticeship has been the discovery of the tilted lasting defect in The Oath model. The problems found later were analyzed using a cause of effect (fishbone) diagram. There are two factors affecting the handicapped to tilt, namely methods and human resource. In the method factor the problem is that the actual construction of a shoe upper does not match the predetermined standard, and there is no written SOP. Furthermore, in the SDM factor, we find the problem is that employees working inaccurate and are in a hurry to achieve maximum production goals. That could result in the final shoe fall into the Grade B category. The problem can be solved with the SOP making in written, that explains the marking so that the upper is straight and balanced between in and out and giving some briefing for employees.
