Abstract

CV. Rumah Warna merupakan sebuah industri yang bergerak dalam bidang pembuatan tas yang berlokasi di Yogyakarta. Tujuan dari penulisan problem solving ini adalah untuk mencari solusi dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan pada proses pembuatan pola tas backpack. Materi yang diamati adalah meliputi proses analisis proses pembuatan pola di CV. Rumah Warna. Metode yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan metode tersebut, penulis menemukan permasalahan yang terjadi pada proses pembuatan pola tas backpack yaitu ketidaksimetrisan lengkung pola body belakang tas backpack. Hal ini terjadi akibat pembuatan pola dengan perkiraan sendiri dan tidak lengkapnya alat bantu. Hasil dari pengamatan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat cara untuk mengatasi terjadinya ketidaksimetrisan lengkung pola body belakang tas backpack yaitu dengan menerapkan metode ALP pada proses pembuatan pola dan menyediakan alat bantu jangka guna membantu proses pembuatan garis lengkung. CV. Rumah Warna is an industry that is engaged in the manufacture of bags located in Yogyakarta. The purpose of writing problem solving is to find solutions to solve problems in the process of making a backpack bag pattern. The material observed is covering the process of analyzing the pattern making process in CV. Rumah Warna. The method used is observation, interview, and documentation. Based on this method, the author found a problem that occurred in the process of making backpack bag patterns, namely the inert symmetry of the body pattern behind the backpack bag. This happens due to making patterns with their own estimates and incomplete tools. The results of the observations can be concluded that there are ways to overcome the occurrence of curved asymmetry of the body pattern behind the backpack bag, namely by applying the ALP method in the pattern making process and providing a term aid to assist the process of making curved lines.
