Abstract

Karya akhir ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa permasalahan yang terdapat pada proses assembling di cell 37 PT. Parkland World Indonesia 2 dan untuk memperbaiki proses yang mempengaruhi munculnya beberapa masalah yang ada pada bagian tersebut. This final paper aims to analyze the problems found in the assembling process in cell 37 PT. Parkland World Indonesia 2 and to improve processes that affect the emergence of several problems that exist in that section. The methods used in data collection are primary and secondary data collection. Primary data collection is done by observation, interviews and documentation. While secondary data collection is done by means of literature study. Some of the problems found in the assembling process are over cement, heel hight, bonding, line up, and laces. To be able to determine the problem to be taken, a number of observations were made to look for important problems to be resolved immediately and to use the Pareto diagram as an analysis tool to get the highest ranking of some of the problems found. From the results of the analysis and observations, the highest and most important problem to be solved is the difference in the heel hight between the left and in the right shoe. To be able to find out the causal factors of the difference in side height problems used a fishbone diagram analysis tool. From the results of the analysis found several factors that cause the appearance of heel hight defect, namely the results of the stroble sewing width not according to the standard of 6 mm, the use of pad press in the gauge marking process does not match the right and left shoes, and operators who do not check the shoe center in the insert last process and heel last. This problem requires an improvement to overcome it, because the assembling process is one of the important processes in making shoes. The appearance of hight heel problems can affect comfort in use and reduce the quality of shoes produced. Proposed improvements can be given, namely the addition of instructions in the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) to always check the shoe center in the process of insert last and heel last and use the pad press which must be adjusted to the right and left of the shoe in the gauge marking process. Then check the stroble sewing machine and add images that can clarify the static sewing that is correct according to the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).
