Abstract

INTISARI PT Surya Dharmagti (Carvil) beralamat di Jakarta Utara, DKI Jakarta merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang alas kaki. Dalam proses produksi di bagian outsole pada artikel Rebeca ditemukan beberapa masalah yaitu outsole kotor, outsole bergelembung, outsole mulur, dan outsole berlubang. Tujuan dari penulisan Tugas Akhir ini untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan defect outsole pada artikel Rebeca dan mengetahui hasil identifikasi dalam upaya mengurangi defect outsole pada artikel Rebeca. Metode pelaksanaan Tugas Akhir ini menggunakan metode Six Sigma. Hasil dari identifikasi outsole artikel Rebeca menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan perhitungan DPMO dari cacat outsole artikel Rebeca diperoleh nilai DPMO rata-rata sebesar 306,25 dengan nilai sigma level sebesar 4,94 Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pada proses produksi outsole memiliki kapasitas di atas rata-rata level sigma, tetapi hal tersebut belum mencapai target dari peningkatan kualitas Six Sigma yaitu mencapai Sigma level sebesar 6 Sigma. Usulan perbaikan yang bisa diberikan terhadap faktor-faktor penyebab cacat outsole artikel Rebeca yaitu pada faktor manusia (man): memberikan instruksi/arahan dan pelatihan mengenai prosedur kerja, faktor material: melakukan pengawasan terhadap material yang akan diproses sesuai check sheet pemeriksaan material, faktor mesin (machine): pengecekan secara berkala untuk setiap alat, mesin rotary molding, dan mold yang digunakan agar tidak rusak, dapat berfungsi dengan baik, dan tidak kotor, dan faktor metode (method): pelaksanaan sesuai SOP yaitu SOP penyiapan mesin, SOP mixing bahan, dan SOP proses injeksi produksi. Kata kunci: cacat outsole, six sigma, SOP ABSTRACT PT Surya Dharmagti (Carvil) is located in North Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, and operates in the footwear industry. During the production process in the outsole department for the Rebeca article, several problems were found, namely dirty outsoles, bubbled outsoles, stretched outsoles, and perforated outsoles. The purpose of this Final Project is to identify the factors causing defects in the outsole of the Rebeca article and to understand the results of the identification in an effort to reduce outsole defects in the Rebeca article. The implementation method of this Final Project uses the Six Sigma method. The results of the identification of the Rebeca article's outsole show that based on the calculation of DPMO (Defects Per Million Opportunities) for outsole defects in the Rebeca article, an average DPMO value of 306,25 with a sigma level value of 4.94 is obtained. This indicates that the outsole production process has a capacity above the average sigma level, but it has not yet reached the target of Six Sigma quality improvement, which is to achieve a Sigma level of 6 Sigma. Proposed improvements that can be given to the factors causing defects in the Rebeca article's outsole are as follows: human factors (man): provide instructions and training regarding work procedures, Material factors: supervise the materials to be processed according to the material inspection check sheet, machine factors: regularly check all equipment, rotary molding machines, and molds used to ensure they are not damaged, function properly, and are clean, and method factors: the implementation is in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), namely the SOP for machine preparation, SOP for mixing materials, and SOP for the production injection process.
