Abstract

The aim of this Final Project is to identify the causal factors and find solutions to address the wrinkling issue in the collar lining of the Aladdin model shoe sample. The method employed to address this Final Project includes experimentation, such as material testing, recreating patterns using the manual system, and testing these pattern results in the form of shoe samples. The results of the experiment on the Aladdin model shoes indicate that the factor causing the wrinkling is the lack of spacing in the collar lining pattern between the center line of the collar lining and the center line of the shell pattern. Therefore, a spacing of 6 mm at the top center point and 8 mm at the bottom center point is necessary.
