Abstract

PT Berkat Ganda Sentosa berlokasi di Pasuruan, Jawa Timur merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang persepatuan. Tujuan dari penulisan Tugas Akhir adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pembuatan logo MC 999 teknik emboss serta menentukan solusi yang tepat untuk mengatasi permasalahan pada hasil embossing logo MC 999 teknik emboss yang terlihat kurang jelas. Faktor penyebabnya yaitu pada logo yang terlihat kurang jelas dan tekan timbul pada matras emboss metode yang digunakan masih bergantung pada fokus dan konsentrasi sehingga menyebabkan berbagai masalah yang berdampak pada kualitas. Timbul merupakan bagian yang menyembul sedikit dari permukaan yang rata. Tekan merupakan bagian yang digunakan tumpuan. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan yang dilakukan, tidak ada visualisasi yang dengan jelas menggambarkan hasil emboss yang diharapkan pada pembuatan logo teknik emboss. Untuk alat bantu analisis faktor penyebab permasalahan menggunakan diagram fishbone. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Metode penyelesaian masalah dilakukan dengan metode perancangan. Solusi perbaikan yaitu dengan membuat desain bentuk digital logo untuk emboss sebelum dilakukan pemesanan. Kata kunci : Photoshop, Logo PT Berkat Ganda Sentosa located in Pasuruan, East Java is a company engaged in the footwear sector. The purpose of writing this Final Project is to identify the MC 999 logo with the embossing technique and determine the right solution to overcome the problems with the results of the MC 999 logo embossing technique that look unclear. The causative factor is the logo that looks unclear and is pressed embossed on the embossed mat, the method used still depends on focus and concentration, causing various problems that impact quality. Embossed is the part that sticks out slightly from the flat surface. Press is the part that is used pedestal. Based on the observations made, there is no visualization that clearly describes the expected embossing results in the embossing technique logo creation. The tool for analyzing the factors that cause problems uses fishbone diagrams. Data collection was carried out by observation, interview, documentation, and literature study. Problem solving method is done by design method. The repair solution is to make a digital logo design for embossing before placing an order. Keywords : Photoshop, Logo
