Abstract

Kegiatan magang di PT. XYZ Sidoarjo Jawa Timur mulai dilaksanakan pada tanggal 01 Februari 2019 sampai dengan 30 April 2019. Materi yang dibahas dalam karya akhir adalah mengatasi kebocoran bagian lining sepatu waterproof saat proses perakitan lining sepatu agar mengurangi biaya produksi dan dapat menjaga kualitas sepatu waterproof sesuai dengan SOP yang telah ditetapkan di PT. XYZ Sidoarjo Jawa Timur. Lining waterproof yang bocor saat suter test selama Week 13 berjumlah 17 psg dari jumlah tester 120 psg dan output yang berjumlah 3.698 psg. Dari total jumlah output dan jumlah presentasi kebocoran ditemukan hasil mencapai 0,45%. Karena jumlah kebocoran tester melebihi 0,1% dari total output maka tindakan yang dilakukan adalah membuat laporan “corrective actions” yang berguna sebagai tinjauan penilaian seberapa banyak dan apa saja penyebab terjadinya kebocoran lining. Masalah kebocoran lining waterproof disebabkan oleh glue waterbase tidak rata, glue waterbase kurang kering, tape kurang lengket, tape wrinkle dan temperature mesin kurang panas. Adapun cara mengatasi kebocoran pada lining sepatu waterproof ialah meratakan glue waterbase, mengeringkan glue waterbase dengan maksimal, mengarahkan lining sejajar dengan besi blower, menghindari jahitan jangan sampai menumpuk dan pemeriksaan secara berkala temperature mesin welding tape. The Internship at PT. XYZ Sidoarjo, East Java was started on February 1 – April 30, 2019. This final assignment aims to overcome leaks of waterproof shoe lining during the lining process. Furthermore, it can reduce the cost of production also it maintains the quality of waterproof shoes based on the SOP at PT. XYZ. The number of waterproof lining that leaks that the Sutter test within 13 weeks, are 17 pairs of the total tester 120 pairs and the output is 3.698 pairs. The total output and presentation of the leaks have reached 0.45% because the number of tester leaks exceeds 0.1% of the total output. The action taken was making a report of “corrective actions” used as a review of how much the lining leak and what are the causes of the lining leak The waterproof lining leak problem is caused by the glue waterbased not being uneven, also the glue waterbased less dry, the tape wich less sticky, the tape wrinkle and the engine temperature not hot enough. The way to overcome the damage of leak in waterproof shoe lining is by flattening the glue waterbased, drying the glue waterbased maximally, directing the lining parallel with the blower iron, avoiding the seams not to accumulate and periodically checking the temperature of the welding tape machine.
