Abstract
Tugas akhir ini bertujuan meningkatkan kerekatan cat dan ketahanan gosok kulit nappa upper softy. Bahan baku yang digunakan antara lain kulit crust domba grade R dengan luas 4 Squerfit. Bahan kimia utama yang digunakan untuk perbaikan adalah bayderm dan silikon oil. Peralatan dan mesin-mesin yang digunakan antara lain meja spray, penyaring, gayung, timbangan digital, pengaduk kayu, mesin toggle, mesin staking, mesin spray dan mesin platting. Metode perbaikan dilakukan dengan menambahkan 30 gr bayderm dalam 1 liter larutan adhession coat, serta 5 gr silikon oil dalam 1 liter larutan medium coat. Pengujian kuat rekat cat tutup dan ketahanan gosok dilakukan berdasarkan standar uji SNI 06-4083-1996 dan ISO 20433 : 2012. Berdasarkan hasil uji yang diperoleh diketahui bahwa melalui penggunaan bayderm pada lapisan adhession coat dapat meningkatkan kuat rekat cat tutup dengan nilai 125 gr (kering) dan 75 gr (basah) beban yang digunakan untuk mengangkat lapisan cat sebelum penambahan adhession. Sedangkan 235 gr (kering) dan 75 gr (basah) beban setelah penambahan adhession peningkatan nilai kerekatan cat. Peningkatan nilai ketahanan gosok basah Juga terjadi peniningkatan melalui penambahan silikon oil dengan nilai 3/4 (sedikit luntur) sebelum penambahan silikon bernilai 3 (luntur). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan bahan adhession dapat meningkatkan nilai kerekatan cat dan penambahan silikon dapat meningkatkan nilai ketahanan gosok. This final project aims to improve paint adhesiveness and resistance to rubbing the upper softy nappa skin. The raw materials used include grade R sheep crust with 4 Squerfit area. The main chemicals used for repairs are bayderm and silicone oil. Equipment and machinery used include spray tables, filters, dipper, digital scales, wood stirrers, toggle machines, staking machines, spray machines and platting machines. The repair method is done by adding 30 grams of bayderm in 1 liter of adhession coat solution, and 5 grams of silicone oil in 1 liter of medium coat solution. Testing the strength of the paint lid and rub resistance was carried out based on SNI 06-4083-1996 and ISO 20433: 2012. Test results Based on the test results obtained it was found that through the use of bayderm the adhession coat layer can increase the adhesive strength of the paint lid with a value of 125 gr (dry) and 75 gr (wet) load used to lift the paint layer before adding adhession. While 235 gr (dry) and 75 gr (wet) load after addition adhession increased the value of the adhesiveness of the paint. Increased value of wet rub resistance Also increased through the addition of silicone oil with a value of 3/4 (slightly faded) before the addition of silicon is worth 3 (fade). It can be concluded that the addition of adhession material can increase the value of adhesiveness of the paint and the addition of silicon can increase the value of rub resistance.
