Abstract

Cacat garis perak biasanya terjadi karena material lembab atau terdapat uap air yang menempel pada permukaan material. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mencari cara penyelesaian cacat garis perak. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengamatan, studi pustaka dan wawancara. Berdasarkan pengamatan, studi pustaka, dan wawancara yang telah dilakukan, menunjukkan bahwa untuk mengurangi jumlah produk dengan cacat garis perak, dapat dilakukan pembersihan silinder setelah produksi berakhir. Suhu cetakan perlu diatur agar tetap stabil dengan menggunakan pengontrol temperatur cetakan. Untuk menjaga kualitas produk yang lebih baik, SOP produksi perlu dibuat dan dilakukan pemeliharaan terjadwal. Silver streaks defects usually occur because of the humidity caused by attached vapor to the surface of the material. This final project aimed to find out how to solve the silver streaks defect. The methods used were observation, literature study and interviews. Based on observations, literature study, and interviews that have been conducted, it showed that to reduce the number of products with silver streaks defects, cylinder cleaning can be done after production process. By using the mold temperature controller, the temperature shall be set to remain stable. In conclusion, in order to maintain better product quality, SOP production and maintenance schedule shall be arranged.
