Abstract

PT. Bali Mukti merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi sepatu resmi maupun non resmi berdasarkan pesanan buyer. Materi yang dipelajari dan menjadi kajian dari Karya Akhir ini yaitu proses perakitan upper sepatu PDL Parabelum Tali di bagian sewing. Tujuan dalam karya akhir adalah mengetahui permasalahan dalam proses perakitan upper, mengetahui penyebab permasalahan, dan memberikan usulan perbaikan pada permasalahan yang terjadi pada proses perakitan upper sepatu PDL Parabelum Tali. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data primer yaitu dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan praktek kerja lapangan. Sedangkan untuk mengumpulkan data sekunder dilakukan dengan metode studi pustaka dan studi online. Pada proses produksi bagian sewing ada beberapa permasalahan yang ditemukan yaitu jahitan putus, komponen tidak terjahit, jahitan timbul, Speedloop, jahitan keluar jalur, tinggi sebelah, komponen terjahit, salah ukuran dan kesalahan pemasangan lining, permasalahan yang sering ditemui adalah cacat pemasangan lining. Faktor penyebab cacat permasalahan lining diantaranya operator perakitan upper bagian sewing yang kurang terampil, selain itu teknik pemasangan yang salah menjadi salah satu faktornya. Usulan perbaikan dari permasalahan cacat pemasangan lining yang terjadi pada saat proses perakitan upper sepatu PDL Parabelum Tali adalah menambahkan keterangan pada SOP mengenai teknik pemasangan lining upper yang benar. Yaitu ketika bagian eyestay, linning upper dan lining eyestay akan ditempel dilakukan kembali pengecekan bahwa posisi lining upper harus berada dibawah komponen eyestay dan lining eyestay dengan ketentuan jarak 5 – 10 mm. PT. Bali Mukti Shoes Factory is a company that produces official and non-official shoes based on buyer orders. The material that is studied and becomes a study of this Final Work is the process of assembling the upper part of the PDL Parabelum Tali on the sewing part. The purpose in the final work is to find out the problems in the upper assembly process, find out the cause of the problem, and suggest improvements to the problems that occur in the process of assembling the upper PDL Parabelum Tali. The method used to collect primary data is by conducting observations, interviews, documentation, and field work practices. Whereas to collect secondary data is done by literature study and online studies. In the sewing process, there are a number of problems found, namely broken stitches, non-sewn components, embossed stitches, Speedloops, out-of-line stitches, side height, sewn components, incorrect measurements and faults in lining, a common problem is lining installation defects. Factors that cause defects in lining problems include upper assembly operators who are less skilled at sewing, and the wrong installation technique is one factor. The proposed improvement of the problem of lining installation defects that occurred during the upper assembly process of PDL Parabelum Tali shoes is to add information on the SOP regarding the correct upper lining installation technique. That is, when the eyestay section, the upper linning and eyestay lining will be affixed, check again that the upper lining position must be below the eyestay component and the eyestay lining with conditions of the distance of 5-10 mm.
