Abstract

Tugas akhir dilaksanakan di CV Linda Jaya Garut, Jawa Barat. Tujuan tugas akhir adalah memberikan pemecahan masalah terhadap daya rekat lapisan finishing pada artikel bam upper softy. Metode yang digunakan dalam pembuatan tugas akhir adalah survey, observasi, interview dan proses finishing. Bahan baku yang digunakan adalah kulit crust dengan kualifikasi D dan reject dengan jumlah 50 lembar, ketebalan 1,6-1,8 mm serta luas rata-rata 20-25 sqft per lembar. Bahan kimia yang digunakan dalam proses finishing adalah Resin PU 1518, Driver IP, Compact ZB, Primal SB 100, Wax Top B, FI 1261, Resin A 1520, BI 372, Resin PU 1020, Aquatop PU 4022 dan Soft T. Tahapan proses yang dilakukan adalah persiapan, proses finishing, pengujian dan analisa data. Penambahan bahan polyurethane adhesive dapat meningkatan nilai daya rekat dari 1,33 (terkelupas) menjadi 2,87 (tidak terkelupas). Hasil pengujian ketahanan gosok kering menunjukan bahwa kedua sampel kulit lolos pengujian karena memiliki nilai 4,5 dan 4. Hasil pengujian ketahanan gosok basah menunjukan bahwa kulit tanpa bahan polyurethane adhesive tidak lolos pengujian karena memiliki nilai dibawah 3,5. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka pemberian bahan polyurethane adhesive dapat mempengaruhi daya rekat dan ketahanan gosok lapisan finishing. The essay was carried out at CV Linda Jaya Garut, West Java. The purpose of the essay is to provide a solution to the problem of the adhesion finishing layer on bam upper softy articles. The method used for making the essay is survey, observation, interview and finishing process. The raw material used is crust leather with D and reject qualification for 50 sheets, 1,6-1,8 mm thickness and an average area of 20-25 sqft. The raw material used in the finishing process is Resin PU 1518, Driver IP, Compact ZB, Primal SB 100, Wax Top B, FI 1261, Resin A 1520, BI 372, Resin PU 1020, Aquatop PU 4022 dan Soft T. The stages of the process carried out are preparation, finishing process, testing, and data analysis. Addition of polyurethane adhesive material can increase the adhesive power value from 1,33 (peeled off) to 2,87 (not peeled off). The results of dry rub resistance testing showed that the two skin samples passed the test because they had a value of 4,5 and 4. The results of the wet rub resistance testing showed that the skin without polyurethane adhesive material did not pass the test because it had a value below 3,5. Based on the result, the giving of polyurethane adhesive material can affect the adhesive strength and resistance of the finishing layer.
