Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi PT Adi Satria Abadi saat ini adalah kulit artikel crust sheep batting snow white yang kurang lemas sehingga menurunkan kualitas dan tidak sesuai dengan standar customer. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh proses perbaikan pasca tanning kulit crust artikel Sheep Batting Snow White terhadap peningkatan kelemasan hasil kulit. Bahan baku yang digunakan adalah kulit wetwhite domba kualitas V sebanyak 3 lembar, berat 2,1 kg dan total 21 sqft dengan ketebalan 0,8-0,9 mm. Bahan pembantu yang digunakan yaitu 0,25 FA, 1% Tawas, 0,5% chrome alum, 1% Soda acetat, 1,5% Soda kue, 1% Pellan 802, 1% Pellan GLH, dan 0,25% Peramit MLN. Perlakuan proses untuk perbaikan proses pasca tanning artikel Sheep Batting Snow White adalah washing, wetting back, bleaching ,retanning, netralisasi, fatliquoring, dan fixing. Hasil pengujian laboratorium untuk artikel Sheep Batting Snow White dengan perbaikan proses pasca tanning tidak mengalami peningkatan tetapi pada pengujian organoleptis kelemasan kulit telah memenuhi standar customer. Nilai pengujian fisis mengalami peningkatan kekuatan tarik 26,3 Kg/mm2 dan nilai kelemasan 0,65 mm (∅)Ring 20 mm). The problem that has to faced in PT Adi Satria Abadi now were the softness of article crust sheep batting glove snow white not soft so not fulfilling the standard of customer. This final project aims to determine the effect of the post tanning process of skin crust Sheep Batting Snow White article on the increase in skin fatigue. The raw material used is 3 pieces of quality V wetwhite sheep skin, a weight of 2.1 kg and a total of 21 sqft with a thickness of 0.8-0.9 mm. The auxiliary materials used are 0.25% FA, 1% Alum, 0.5% Chrome alum, 1% Acetate soda, 1.5% Baking soda, 1% Pellan 802, 1% Pellan GLH, and 0.25% Peramit MLN . Process for Sheep Batting Snow White's article are wetwhite sheep, washing, wetting back, bleaching, retanning, neutralization, fatliquoring, fixing and laboratory testing. Results of laboratory testing for Sheep Batting Snow White's article with improved post-tanning processes did not increase but in organoleptic testing skin fatigue met customer standards. The fisis test value experienced an increase in tensile strength of 26,3 Kg/mm2 and 0,65 mm value of softness.
