Abstract

PT. Putri Riwaru Jaya merupakan salah satu perusahaan insole yang terletak di Kota Serang dengan material Etilen Vinil Asetat. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh perusahaan adalah adanya produk cacat. Penulisan tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis kecacatan produk dan faktor penyebab kecacatan produk, juga untuk menganalisis pengendalian kualitas insole ‘’Getzke’’.. Metode pengurangan cacat yang digunakan yaitu six sigma dengan konsep DMAIC (Define – Measure – Analyze – Improve dan Control). Pada tahap define diketahui ada 3 jenis cacat yang paling dominan dari analisis dengan diagram pareto yaitu cacat motif tidak timbul, cacat permukaan cekung,dan cacat gosong. Pada tahap measure diperoleh rata-rata nilai DPMO yaitu 4310.516 dan nilai sigma yang sebesar 4,1σ. Pada tahap analyze yang dilakukan dengan diagram sebab akibat (fishbone diagram) diketahui penyebab utama cacat motif tidak timbul adalah faktor mesin, penyebab utama cacat permukaan cekung adalah faktor material sedangkan penyebab utama cacat gosong adalah faktor mesin. Pada tahap improve usulan perbaikan untuk cacat motif tidak timbul yaitu membuat jadwal maintenance mesin dan membersihkan mold dengan cairan pembersih mold, usulan perbaikan untuk cacat permukaan cekung adalah memperketat proses inspeksi dan pengujian material EVA dan usulan perbaikan untuk cacat gosong adalah mengurangi waktu pemanasan dan memperbaiki mesin oven. Pada tahap control diharapkan perusahaan melakukan proses pengontrolan dan pemantauan terhadap proses pengendalian kualitas berdasarkan solusi alternatif dari penulis. PT. Putri Riwaru Jaya is an insole company located in Serang City with Ethylene Vinyl Acetate material. The problem faced by the company is the presence of defect products. Writing this final project purpose to determine the types of product defects and factors causing product defects, also to analyze the quality control of '' Getzke '' insole .. The defect reduction method used is six sigma with the concept of DMAIC (Define - Measure - Analyze - Improve and Control) ). At the define stage, it is known that there are 3 types of defects that are most dominant from the analysis with pareto diagrams, namely the motif does not arise, concave surface defects, and burn marks. In the measure stage, the average DPMO value is 4310,516 and the sigma value is 4.1σ. At the analyze stage carried out with a causal diagram (fishbone diagram) it is known that the main cause of defective motives does not arise is the engine factor, the main cause of concave surface defects is the material factor while the main cause of the burn defect is the engine factor. At the stage of improving the proposed improvement for defective motives that do not arise, namely making a machine maintenance schedule and cleaning the mold with mold cleaning fluid, the proposed improvement for concave surface defects is to tighten the inspection and testing of EVA material and the proposed improvement for burnt defects is to reduce heating time and repair the machine oven. At the control stage the company is expected to carry out the process of controlling and monitoring the quality control process based on alternative solutions from the writer.
