Abstract

Dalam penyusunan tugas akhir ini yang menjadi obyek adalah proses desain sepatu sport untuk dewasa, dimulai dari penyusunan konsep visualisasi sampai menjadi prototype dilaksanakan di PT. Dwi Naga Sakti Abadi, Tangerang, Banten. Ide desain sepatu bermula dari arahan pihak perusahaan, yang menghendaki adanya pembuatan sepatu sport dengan model dan ide terbaru, dengan alat (tool) dan bahan yang telah disediakan perusahaan, dengan harapan dapat memperluas pasar. Konsumen yang dituju yaitu laki-laki dewasa terutama mahasiswa, pekerja dan para karyawan yang dapat melakukan berbagai kegiatan dan aktifitas. Untuk mendapatkan data-data/informasi yang diperlukan dalam penyususunan konsep desain, maka metode yang digunakan dalam karya akhir ini adalah meliputi praktik kerja langsung, metode pengumpulan data primer yakni observasi, interview, dokumentasi, dan metode sekunder yakni studi pustaka. Pelaksanaan pengembangan desain sepatu sport melalui tahap ide/gagasan, penyusunan konsep desain, pembuatan visualisasi desain, prototipe, hingga evaluasi. Dalam pembuatan prototipe dilakukan percobaan sebanyak 2 kali, untuk mendapatkan kenyamanan pakai, komposisi yang pas dengan bahan yang telah ada di perusahaan. Desain memenuhi unsur Durability, Flexiblity, Breathability, dan Praktis. Menurut penilaian pihak perusahaan, ternyata prototip yang ke 2 dianggap cukup baik dari trial sample 1 dan telah sesuai dengan desain yang telah dirancang. The idea of shoe design originated from the direction of the company, which wanted the creation of sport shoes with the latest models and ideas, with tools and materials provided by the company, hoping to expand the market. The intended consumers are male adults, especially students, workers and employees who can carry out various activities and activities. To get the data / information needed in drafting a design concept, the method used in this final work includes direct work practices, primary data collection methods, namely observation, interviews, documentation, and secondary methods, namely library research. Implementation of the development of sport shoe designs through the stages of making ideas / ideas, drafting design concepts, making design visualizations, prototypes, and evaluating. In making a prototype 2 experiment was conducted, to get the convenience of use, composition that fits with the ingredients that already exist in the company. The design meets the elements of Durability, Flexibility, Breathability, and Practical. According to the company, it turns out that the second prototype is considered good enough from the trial sample 1 and is in accordance with the design that has been designed.
