Abstract

Pembuatan Tugas Akhir bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh humidity kulit terhadap hasil uji color fastness to rubbing test dan mengetahui optimalisasi humidity kulit terhadap color fastness to rubbing test untuk kulit furniture artikel croste omega. Proses finishing artikel croste omega mempunyai kendala, yaitu pada saat di uji color fastness to rubbing kulit mengalami kelunturan pada felt wet 250 cycle, karena pada artikel kulit ini kondisinya lembab melebihi standar pabrik. Maka dilakukan trial membuat sampel dengan humidity kulit antara 8-30 % dan menguji kadar airnya untuk masing – masing humidity kulit agar mengetahui pengaruh humidity kulit terhadap uji color fastness to rubbing. Berdasarkan sampel yang dibuat dengan humidity kulit antara 8-30%, untuk humidity kulit 20 % dan 30 %. Setelah dilakukan pengeringan ulang (redry) sebanyak tiga kali.menunjukkan hasil yang memiliki nilai grey scale 5 yang sesuai dengan standar PT Mastrotto Indonesia dan hasil optimalisasi pada humidity kulit 10 % dengan nilai grey scale 5. Making Final Project aims to determine the effect of humidity on the results of the color fastness test to rubbing and find a solution to the problem in improving the endurance of skin color finish to test color fastness to rubbing for furniture leather articles of Omega croste. Process of finishing the omega croste there are obstacles, namely when tested Color fastness to rubbing the skin experiences bleeding on the grain section and the color fades on the wet felt 250 cycle, because in this skin archeology the condition is moist above the factory standard. So trial is made to make samples with humidity between 8-30% and test the water content for each humidity in order to determine the effect of humidity on the color fastness to rubbing test. Based on samples made with humidity between 8-30%, it shows results that have a value of gray scale 5 that is in accordance with the standards of PT Mastrotto Indonesia and also has a humidity value according to factory standards which is 8-14%, after redrying three times .
