Abstract

Perkembangan sepatu di Indonesia sangat baik dari segi jenis dan jumlahnya. PT. Putri Riwaru Jaya merupakan perusahaaan yang memproduksi insole berbagai jenis sepatu salah satunya untuk sepatu safety. permasalahan yang terdapat di PT. Putri Riwaru Jaya adalah produk insole melengkung dan gosong. Permasalahan yang sering terjadi cacat melengkung dan gosong pada produk insole sepatu safety Cheetah. Tujuan dari tugas akhir ini adalah mengidentifikasi penyebab dan mengatasi cacat produk insole sepatu Cheetah. Metode untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan menggunakan PDCA dengan bantuan diagram sebab akibat. Faktor yang dianalisa dalam diagram sebab akibat adalah material, manusia, mesin, metode. Cacat melengkung disebabkan oleh suhu heat unit lebih rendah dari standar (<155 oC), dan waktu pemanasan terlalu singkat (<90 detik) sedangkan cacat gosong disebabkan oleh suhu heat unit lebih tinggi dari standar (>165 oC), dan waktu pemanasan terlalu lama (>180 detik). Cara mengatasi yaitu melakukan pelatihan terhadap operator, melakukan pengecekan dan perawatan mesin secara berkala. The development of shoes in Indonesia is very good in terms of type and success. PT. Putri Riwaru Jaya is a company that manufactures various types of shoe insoles, one of which is for shoe safety. The problem at PT. Putri Riwaru Jaya is a curved and scorched insole product. The problem that often occurs is the curved defects and burns on Cheetah insole safety shoes products. The purpose of this thesis is the problem that is caused and overcome the defects of Cheetah shoe insole products. The method for solving problems using PDCA with cause and effect help diagrams. Factors analyzed in the Cause and Effect diagram are materials, people, machines, methods. Curved defects due to unit heat is lower than the standard (<155 oC), and the heating time is too short (<90 seconds) while burnt defects are caused by the heat of the unit being higher than the standard (>165 oC), and the heating time is too long (> 180 seconds). The way to overcome this is by conducting training for operators, checking and maintaining machines regularly.
