Abstract

Tingkat kualitas dari produk upper merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang harus diperhatikan. Salah satu standar kualitas upper ditentukan berdasarkan hasil dari jahitan pada upper. Tujuan karya akhir ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan yang terjadi dalam proses stitching upper sepatu anak-anak model softy. Pengendalian mutu proses stitching upper sepatu anak-anak model softy ini menggunakan metode observasi dengan menggunakan diagram fishbone sebagai alat untuk mengindentifikasi masalah. Hasil dari analisis permasalahan, menunjukkan bahwa terjadi kesalahan-kesalahan pada proses stitching upper sepatu anak-anak model softy yaitu jahitan zig-zag yang lompat, pemasangan komponen upper yang kurang tepat dan terdapat sisa benang dan bekas lateks yang berlebihan. Faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya reject pada upper sepatu yaitu faktor manusia, mesin, material, dan metode. Solusi untuk meminimalisir terjadinya reject pada hasil upper yaitu dengan cara pada proses pemeberian lateks harus menggunakan alat yang sesuai dengan standar, melakukan pengaturan mesin dengan tepat, karyawan harus melakukan proses perakitan sesuai prosedur, dan juga memberikan arahan kepada operator sebelum melakukan proses penjahitan dan selalu mengganti alat-alat kerja jika alat tersebut sudah tidak layak pakai. The quality of upper is one of the important factors that must be considered. One of standart upper quality is determinedbased on the result of the upper stitching. The purpose of this final work is for identify the problem that occur in process stitching of upper kids shoe. Quality control of stitching process upper kids shoe softy model using observation method by using fishbone diagram as a tool to identify the problems. The result of the analysis of the problem, showed that errors occured during stitching process of upper kids shoe with softy model is the zig-zag stitch that jump, the installation of upper components is not right and there are excess threads and excessive latex marks. Factors that affect teh occurence of rejects on the upper shoes are human, machine, material, and method. The solution to minimize rejection in the upper result is by using the latex process to a tool that is in accordance with the standart, properly regulating teh machine, the employee must carry out the assembly process according to the procedure, also provide direction to the operator befor making the sewing process and always replace the tool works if the tools is not used properly.
