Abstract

PT Tah Sung Hung is a shoe company that produces the Adidas brand. One of the shoe models produced is Gazelle Bold Women shoes which are classified as casual shoes. Based on observations in the stitching process of making Gazelle Bold Women's shoe samples, problems were found in the form of wrinkles in the collar lining section. This caused the company to have to remake. This Final Project aims to determine the factors that cause wrinkle problems in the collar lining section and provide solutions to overcome these problems. Primary data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation, while secondary data collection is done through literature study. Based on the results of data analysis using a fishbone diagram, the factors causing the problem of wrinkle in the collar lining section are caused by two factors, namely the human factor (people) in the form of operators not pulling the collar lining during the stitching process and the method factor (procedures), namely the difference in nik on the collar lining and upper caused by the misaligned collar lining pattern. Nik is a small cut mark made on the margin of the pattern to mark important points in shoemaking. Based on these two factors, the root cause of the wrinkle problem in the collar lining section is the method factor, namely the misaligned collar lining pattern. The solution was to shifting the position of the nik on the collar lining pattern so that it was alignesepatu casual, stitching, collar lining ,wrinkle d with the nik on the upper. From the results of the trial, there is no wrinkle was found in the collar lining part of the shoe sample, so the proposal given can be said to be correct.
