Abstract

PT. Daimatu Industri Indonesia adalah salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam produksi sandal/alas kaki. Tujuan dari karya akhir ini adalah mengetahui penyebab masalah bondgap yang terjadi di bagian assembling dan memberi solusinya. Materi yang dijadikan pembahasan dalam karya akhir ini yaitu “ Cara Mengatasi Bondgap Pada Proses Assembling Sandal Cortica CW-1011“. Metode yang digunakan untuk karya akhir ini adalah metode observasi, metode dokumentasi, metode wawancara, metode sebab akibat dan study pustaka. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan, masalah yang terjadi pada proses assembling sandal Cortica CW-1011, yaitu kurang merekatnya upper dengan outsole, masalah tersebut terjadi karena pemberian primer dan lem yang tidak merata pada bagian upper dan outsole, kurang stabilnya kerja tekanan mesin press dan suhu conveyor, proses pengasaran pada bagian bawah dan samping midsole yang kurang merata sehingga lem tidak meresap dengan baik, dan kurang penerangan pada proses pengeleman, Penyelesaian masalah terhadap cacat bondgap adalah Pemberian primer dan lem yang benar – benar merata pada bagian upper dan outsole, proses pengeleman harus menggunakan kuas supaya lem bisa merata, proses pengasaran harus merata pada bagian bawah dan samping midsole, dilakukan perawatan dan pengecekan pada mesin secara teratur dan menyediakan lampu UV untuk penerangan pada proses pengeleman. PT. Daimatu Industri Indonesia is one of the companies engaged in the production of sandals or footwear. The purpose of this final assignment is to find out the cause of the bondgap problem that occurred in the assembling section and to provide a solution. The material used as a discussion in this final assignment is “how to overcome bondgap in the process of assembling CW-1011 Cortica sandals”. The methods used for this final assignment are the observation method, documentation method, interview method, cause and effect method, and library study. Based on the results of observation, problem that occurs in the process of assembling CW-1011 Cortica sandals is lack of attachment upper with outsole. The problem occurs because of the uneven distribution of primers and glue on the upper and outsole, less stable working press machine pressure and conveyor temperature, coarse process on the bottom and side of the midsole that is less evenly distributed, so that the glue does not absorb properly, and lack of lighting in the gluing process. The problem solving with the bondgap defect is by giving primers and glue that is completely evenly distributed on the upper and outsole or midsole, the gluing process must use a brush so the glue can be evenly distributed, the coarse process must be evenly distributed on the bottom and side of the midsole,maintenance and checking on the machine regularly, and provide UV lights for lighting in the gluing process.
