Abstract

PT. Forta Larese merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi sepatu safety, Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengamati masalah cacat sewing pada upper sepatu safety type 7288. Ditemukan cacat jahitan tidak rapi berupa: jahitan tidak konsisten, jahitan melompat jahitan putus, jahitan kusut. Jahitan yang melebihi garis margin pada proses sewing upper safety, sehingga mengakibatkan jahitan upper tidak sesuai standard dan target produksi tidak terpenuhi. Jahitan tidak rapi merupakan permasalahan yang utama karena mempengaruhi tampilan dari bagian upper dan kualitas upper. Pengamatan dilakukan mulai dari tanggal 12 Maret sampai 10 Mei 2019. Materi yang dipelajari yaitu mengatasi jahitan tidak rapi pada upper sepatu safety type 7288. Pembuatan karya akhir menggunakan metode observasi atau praktek kerja secara langsung, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka pada proses pembuatan upper sepatu safety type 7288 terutama pada proses sewing. Tahapan proses yang dilakukan dalam penyusunan tugas akhir adalah pengamatan, pengumpulan data, identifikasi masalah, analisis dan pengolahan data, pembahasan, dan pemecahan masalah. Setelah diketahui faktor penyebab terjadinya cacat jahitan tidak rapi pada jahitan upper sepatu safety, dilakukan pencarian solusi guna mengatasi masalah jahitan tidak rapi agar berkurang dan tidak terjadi kembali. Untuk mengatasi jahitan tidak rapi adalah perawatan mesin jahit berkala oleh engineering pada pagi hari dan operator dengan melakukan gerakan sadari, pengawasan, pengawasan/pendampingan terhadap operator, QC in process. Neat stitches are the main problem because they affect the appearance of the upper and upper qualities. Observations were carried out from March 12 to May 10 2019. The material studied was to overcome the neat stitches on the upper safety shoe type 7288. Making the final work using the method of observation or direct work practice, interviews, documentation and literature in the upper shoe making process safety type 7288 especially on the sewing process. The stages of the process carried out in the preparation of the final assignment are observation, data collection, problem identification, data analysis and processing, discussion, and problem solving. After knowing the causes of the occurrence of neat stitching defects in the upper seam of safety shoes, a solution was sought to overcome the problem of neat stitches to reduce and don’t recur. To overcome the neat stitches is the maintenance of periodic sewing machines by engineering in the morning and operators with conscious movements, supervision, supervision/assistance to operators, QC in process.
