Abstract

Karya akhir ini bertujuan untuk perbaikan kelemasan (softness) kulit steering wheel artikel vector 60 CSX 60010 dengan perubahan tekanan staking di PT. Mastrotto Indonesia Bogor, Jawa Barat. Materi bahan baku yang digunakan adalah kulit finished steering wheel, 3 lembar dengan luas di sekitar 15-20 sqft. Alat yang digunakan untuk perbaikan kelemasan dengan mesin staking. Metode proses perbaikan kulit steering wheel artikel vector 60 CSX 60010 dengan variasi tekanan staking, yakni staking (1). 4-5-5 bar (2). 5-5-5 bar (3). 5-6-6 bar dengan speed sama 8 m/min, tekanan stacking untuk mendapatkan tingkat kelemasan sesuai standard customer yakni 2,5-3,5 mm. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu kualitas bahan baku kulit steering wheel masuk kualitas G20 (berdasarkan luasan defek), dengan luas kulit berkisar 15-20 sqft, hasil perubahan mekanik pada tekanan staking didapatkan optimal terhadap kulit pada angka 5-6-6 bar speed 8 m/min, serta hasil pengujian tingkat kelemasan dengan alat digital gauge didapat rata-rata 3,24 ± 0,17 mm. Kesimpulan yang di peroleh kulit steering wheel artikel vector 60 CSX 60010 tingkat kelemasannya telah memenuhi standard customer OEM. This final work aims to repair the moisture (softness) of skin steering wheel article vector 60 CSX 60010 with the change of pressure staking in PT. Mastrotto Indonesia Bogor, West Java. Material materials used are leather finished steering wheel, 3 pieces with an area of approximately 15-20 sqft. The tool used to repair the weakness with the staking machine. The process method of repair skin steering wheel article vector 60 CSX 60010 with a variation of pressure staking, namely staking (1). 4-5-5 Bar (2). 5-5-5 Bar (3). 5-6-6 bar with the same speed of 8 m/min, stacking pressure to get the level of weakness according to the standard customer is 2.5-3.5 mm. Results obtained namely the quality of raw materials steering wheel of the G20 quality entrance (based on the size of the defect), with Skin ranges from 15-20 sqft, mechanical change results at the staking pressure obtained optimally against the skin at 5-6-6 bar speed 8 m/min, as well as the result of a weakness rate test with a digital tool gauge obtained an average of 3.24 ± 0.17 mm. Conclusions in Acquired skin steering wheel vector articles 60 CSX 60010 level of weakness has fulfilled customer standard OEM.
