Abstract

PT.Adi Satria Abadi yang beralamat di Jl. Laksda Adi Sucipto Km.11, Dusun Sidokerto, Purwomartani, Kalasan, Yogyakarta. Perusahaan tersebut merupakan perusahaan besar yang bergerak pada bidang Industri produk barang kulit jadi yaitu sarung tangan golf. Berdasarkan data hasil proses seleksi masih banyak ditemukan produk cacat yang tidak lolos seleksi. Kebanyakan cacat produk adalah pada proses jahit terutama pada hasil jahitan binding . Untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab jahitan meleset binding pada sarung tangan golf, Metode yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data primer dengan melakukan beberapa cara yaitu observasi,wawancara dengan operator dan kepala bagian proses Jahit, praktek kerja lapangan dan dokumentasi. Dan untuk pangumpulan data sekunder adalah dengan studi pustaka dan studi online. Faktor penyebab jahitan meleset binding pada sarung tangan golf yaitu disebabkan Teknik menjahit pada bagian lengkung dan jarak corong pita pada mesin jahit. Usulan perbaikan perbaikan untuk mengurangi jahitan meleset binding adalah memberikan informasi kepada operator mengenai cara atau teknik menjahit terutama pada bagian lengkungan omo back. Saat menjahit bagian omo back harus dijahit hati-hati dengan memperhatikan bentuk omo back agar tidak terjadi hasil jahit binding . Sedangkan pada bagian lengkungan yang kedua walaupun posisi atau bentuk dari sarung tangan melengkung namun teknik menjahit yang benar adalah memposisikan bagian tersebut lurus saat dijahit agar jahitan tidak meleset. Melakukan pengecekan secara berkala pada jarak corong pita di mesin jahit, karena saat mesin digunakan untuk menjahit secara terus menerus jarak pada corong bergeser maka dari itu pengecekan secara berkala pada jarak corong pita sangat penting dan perlu diperhatikan, ukuran corong pita seharus nya 1-1,2 mm. PT. Adi Satria Abadi which is located at Jl. Laksda Adi Sucipto Km.11, Dusun Sidokerto, Purwomartani, Kalasan, Yogyakarta. The company is a large company engaged in the Manufacture of finished leather goods, namely golf gloves. Based on the data from the selection process there are still many defective products that do not pass the selection. Most product defects are in the jahit process, especially in jahit body bands. To find out the causes of stitches miss the body bands on golf gloves The method used is the collection of primary data by doing several ways, namely observation in the jahit process, interviews with operators and heads of the Jahit process section, practice of fieldwork and documentation. And for secondary data collection is by literature study and online study. The cause of the stitches missed the body band on the golf glove which was caused by the jahit technique on the curved section and the distance of the ribbon funnel on the jahit machine. Proposed repair improvements to reduce stitches over the body tape are to provide operator information about jahit methods or techniques, especially in the omo back arch section. When jahit the omo back part, it must be sewn carefully by paying attention to the shape of the omo back so that no jahit is missed. Whereas in the second part of the arch, even though the position or shape of the glove is curved, the correct jahit technique is to position the part straight when stitched so that the stitches do not miss. Periodically check the distance of the ribbon funnel on the jahit machine, because when the machine is used to sew continuously the distance to the funnel is shifted so checking periodically at the distance of the funnel is very important and needs to be considered, the size of the funnel should be 1-2 mm .PT.
