Abstract

Kegiatan magang dilakukan di PT. Prestasi Ide Jaya yang berlokasi di Jalan Raya Industri No. 17, Kepuh, Betro, Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur. PT. Prestasi Ide Jaya merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi sepatu anak-anak. Kegiatan magang dilakukan selama 2 bulan dimulai pada tanggal 11 Februari 2019 sampai tanggal 11 April 2019. Selama magang penulis mempelajari, mengamati, dan menganalisa serta mencari permasalahan yang sering timbul pada proses assembling sistem injection. Setelah dilakukan pengamatan terdapat beberapa permasalahan yang sering timbul pada department injection seperti back shoot atau material outsole kurang dan outflow atau material outsole berlebih. Metode yang digunakan menggunakan metode pengambilan data primer dan metode pengambilan data sekunder. Metode pengambilan data primer yang digunakan selama magang adalah praktek kerja langsung, observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Sedangkan metode pengambilan data sekunder menggunakan data pustaka dan studi online. Solusi untuk mengatasi masalah outflow dengan cara membersihkan screw dan menggunakan alumunium foil untuk pencegahan kebocoran. Sedangkan back shoot solusinya dengan cara upper dipukul menggunakan besi untuk mengurangi kerutan pada upper. Internships are conducted at PT. Idea Jaya's achievements located on No. 1 Industrial Road. 17, Kepuh, Betro, Sidoarjo, East Java. PT. Achievement Idea Jaya is a company that produces children's shoes. Internships are conducted for 2 months starting on 11 February 2019 until 11 April 2019. During the internship the writer studies, observes, and analyzes and looks for problems that often arise in the process of assembling injection systems. After observing there are several problems that often arise in department injection such as back shoot or less outsole material and outflow or excess outsole material. The method used uses the primary data collection method and the secondary data collection method. The primary data collection method used during the internship is direct work practice, observation, interviews, documentation. While the secondary data retrieval method uses library data and online studies. Solution to overcome the outflow problem by cleaning the screw and using aluminum foil for prevention of leakage. While the back shoot the solution by means of the upper is hit using iron to reduce wrinkles on the upper.
