Abstract

CV. Rumah Warna merupakan sebuah industri yang bergerak dalam bidang pembuatan tas yang berlokasi di Yogyakarta. Dalam pembuatan tas ransel “Rayvani” ditemukan sebuah masalah dalam proses pelipatan. Tujuan dari penulisan problem solving ini adalah untuk mencari solusi dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan pelipatan dalam proses produksi. Materi yang diamati adalah meliputi proses analisis produk di bagian quality control di CV. Rumah Warna. Metode yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan metode tersebut, penulis menemukan bahwa yang mempengaruhi cacat produk pada proses pelipatan khususnya dalam bagian tutup tas yaitu bahan pecah pada bagian lipatan cekung. Hasil dari pengamatan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat cara untuk mengatasi terjadinya bahan pecah pada bagian lipatan cekung pada komponen tutup tas yaitu dengan membuat garis bantu (marking) untuk membuat potongan-potongan kecil pada lipatan bagian cekung, garis ini dibuat 3 mm sebelum garis lipatan, dan menggunakan palu berkepala cembung untuk menekan lipatan. CV. Rumah Warna is an industry that is engaged in the manufacture of bags located in Yogyakarta. In making a backpack "Rayvani" a problem was found in the folding process. The purpose of writing problem solving is to find solutions on folding problems in the production process. The object which is observed is covering the product analysis process in the section of the quality control CV. Rumah Warna. The method used are observation, interview, and documentation. Based on the method, the author found that affecting the product defects is the folding process, especially in the bag lid section, the material is broken in the concave fold. The results of the observations to overcome the occurrence of broken material in the concave folds of the bag lid component is by marking to make small pieces in the concave fold. This line is made 3 mm before the fold line, use a convex-headed hammer to press the fold.
