Abstract

PT. Sepatu Bata Tbk merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang persepatuan, beberapa produk yang diproduksi oleh PT. Sepatu Bata Tbk. salah satunya adalah sepatu sekolah dengan nama artikel Vamper Legend. Proses perakitan sepatu tersebut menggunakan mesin injection, dalam menghasilkan produk yang berkualitas tidak hanya berpatokan pada mesin dan juga material yang digunakan, akan tetapi juga ditentukan dari proses perakitannya. Pada produk tersebut ditemukan beberapa cacat yang menurunkan kualitas produk, oleh karena itu untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk diperlukan langkah perbaikan terhadap cacat yang terjadi. Metode pelaksanaan tugas akhir dalam pemecahan masalah ini adalah dengan memanfaatkan informasi yang diperoleh saat magang, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil pengumpulan data kecacatan teridentifikasi bahwa terdapat cacat paling banyak pada toe cap yang miring, kemiringan ini disebabkan karena tidak adanya SOP mengenai proses lasting, masalah ini dapat diselesaikan dengan cara memberikan SOP pada saat persiapan proses lasting hingga upper siap inject. PT. Sepatu Bata TBK is a company engaged in the sector, some products are manufactured by PT. Sepatu Bata TBK. One of which is school shoes with the article name Vamper Legend. The process of assembling the shoe using injection machine, in order to produce a quality product not only on the machine and also the material used, but also determined from the accounting process. In such products are found some defects that degrade the quality of the product, therefore to improve the quality of the product necessary corrective steps to the defects that occur. The method of implementing the final task in solving this problem is to utilize information obtained during the internship, data collection is done by observation methods, interviews, documentation and library studies. Results of data collection defects identified that there is the most defect in the sloped toe cap, this slope is caused by the absence of SOP about the process of lasting, it can be solved by giving SOP at the time of preparation of the lasting until the upper is ready inject
