Abstract

PT. Sumber Citra Persada merupakan salah satu perusahaan persepatuan yang ada di Indonesia. Terdapat berbagai macam sepatu yang diproduksi. Sepatu casual memiliki logo yang terdapat pada bagian lidah. Logo pada sepatu casual dibuat dengan cara di emboss. Dalam proses pembuatan logo ditemukan masalah pada hasil emboss yang tidak sesuai dengan sampel. Masalah yang ditemukan pada proses emboss yaitu: emboss terlalu timbul, emboss kurang timbul dan hasil emboss miring. Tujuan dari tugas akhir ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan, penyebab serta memberi solusi pada masalah tersebut. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu pengumpulan data primer dan data sekunder. Data yang didapat dari hasil pengamatan kemudian diolah dengan uji coba terhadap komponen bahan PVC. Hasil dari pengamatan dan pengolahan data dapat diketahui bahwa cacat yang terjadi pada bagian emboss terletak pada pengaturan welding timer, cooling timer dan kurang disiplinnya pekerja pada bagian emboss. Cara untuk mengatasi masalah pada proses emboss yaitu dengan cara perbaikan SOP (standard operating procedure). Pada SOP awal yang digunakan bagian emboss tidak terdapat waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk proses emboss. Sehingga diperlukan perbaikan SOP dengan memberikan ketentuan pengaturan waktu welding dan cooling, serta intruksi melepas pedal ketika nyala lampu indikator pada welding berpindah ke posisi UP. PT. Sumber Citra Persada is one of the integrated companies in Indonesia. A wide range of shoes are produced. Casual shoes have a logo on the tongue. The Logo on casual shoes is made in a way in Emboss. In the process of creating a logo found an issue on the emboss result that does not correspond to the sample. The problems found in the emboss process are: Emboss is too embossed, the emboss is less embossed and the results are skewed. The purpose of this final task is to identify the problem, cause and provide solution to the issue. The data collection methods used are primary data collection and secondary data. The Data obtained from the observation result is then processed with a test of PVC material components. The results of the observation and data processing can be known that defects occurring in the Emboss section lies in the settings of the welding timer, cooling timer and less discipline of the worker on the emboss part. The way to solve the problem in the emboss process is by improving the SOP (Standard operating procedure). At the initial SOP used the emboss part there is no time needed for the emboss process. So that it is necessary to repair SOP by providing the conditions of welding and cooling timing, as well as the instructions to release the pedal when the indicator light on the welding moved to position UP.
