Abstract

PT. Toezone Indo adalah perusahaan sepatu anak-anak yang menerapkan technology visual fit. Hal itu diterapkan agar memudahkan pengguna, karena fitur technologi visual fit terletak pada permukaan outsole, maka kualitas pada outsole juga harus diperhatikan dari produk sepatu yang dihasilkan. Tujuan dari penulisan karya akhir ini yaitu untuk mengetahui permasalahan pada outsole sepatu anak di perusahaan. Materi yang diamati dalam kegiatan penyusunan karya akhir ini adalah outsole Phylon TZ-45, proses quality control outsole, dan quality control diproses finishing. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis dengan menggunakan data yang didapatkan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur. Hasil dari pengamatan menunjukan bahwa sering ditemukan outsole beda warna pada sepatu anak di quality control 2 pada proses finishing. Faktor penyebabnya adalah selisih waktu yang jauh antara mesin pendingin dengan yang dilakukan operator untuk melepas acuan dan menyebabkan penumpukan sepatu diproses pendinginan. Hal ini mempengaruhi pencapaian target. Usulan perbaikan yang diberikan dari penyelesaian masalah tersebut adalah dengan membuat color swatch disertai kode warna untuk memudahkan pencarian pasangan outsole serta membuat Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) pada warehouse outsole untuk meminimalisi jumlah defect. Dari usulan perbaikan tersebut diharapkan dapat mencegah masalah perbedaan warna pada outsole serta hasil pencapaian target meningkat dan jumlah defect berkurang. PT. Toezone Indo is a children's shoes company that applies visual fit technology. It was applied to facilitate the user, because the visual fit technology feature is located on the surface of the outsole, so the quality of the outsole must also be considered from the resulting shoe products. The purpose of writing this thesis is to find out the problem on the outsole of children's shoes in the company. The material observed in the preparation of this final work is the Phylon TZ-45 outsole, the quality control outsole process, and the quality control processed finishing. The method used is analysis using data obtained by observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results of observations indicate that often found different color outsole on children's shoes in quality control 2 in the finishing process. The contributing factor is the large time difference between the engine coolant and the operator to remove the reference and cause the stacking of shoes to be processed by cooling. This affects the achievement of targets. The proposed improvement given from solving the problem is to make a color swatch accompanied by a color code to facilitate the search for outsole pairs and create a Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) at the warehouse outsole to minimize the number of defects. The proposed improvement is expected to prevent the problem of color differences in the outsole as well as the results of achieving the target increases and the number of defects is reduced.
