Abstract

CV. Rumah Warna merupakan sebuah industri yang bergerak dalam bidang pembuatan tas wanita yang berlokasi di Yogyakarta. Di dalam proses produksi tas wanita ditemukan sebuah masalah dalam tata letak produksi pada perusahaan tersebut yaitu letak divisi cutting yang berada pada lantai 2 menyebabkan jarak dan waktu yang digunakan menjadi tidak efektif dalam proses produksi tas di CV. Rumah Warna. Tujuan dari penulisan problem solving ini adalah untuk mencari solusi dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan tata letak dalam proses produksi. Materi yang diamati meliputi proses analisis tata letak produksi tas wanita di CV. Rumah Warna. Metode penyelesaian karya akhir ini menggunakan simulasi tata letak produksi tas dengan analisis material movement. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data terdiri dari 2 teknik yaitu teknik pengumpulan data primer dan teknik pengumpulan data sekunder. Dari pengumpulan data dan analisis data serta hasil simulasi maka diperoleh hasil untuk perbaikan yaitu dengan penataan ulang tata letak produksi yang lebih efektif. Dari ketiga simulasi yang telah dibuat maka simulasi yang digunakan sebagai pertimbangan pemecahan masalah tata letak produksi tas di CV. Rumah Warna adalah simulasi yang kedua dengan presentase paling tinggi yaitu 95,7%. Perbaikan dalam tata letak tersebut yaitu dengan memindahkan divisi cutting yang awalnya berada pada lantai 2 menjadi satu lantai dengan divisi lainnya di lantai 1. Dengan demikian diharapkan mempermudah karyawan dalam proses produksi serta terwujudnya keefektifan waktu yang digunakan. CV. Rumah Warna. The purpose of writing this problem solving is to find solutions in solving layout problems in the production process. The material observed included the process of analyzing the layout of women's bag production in the CV. Rumah Warna. This final work completion method uses a bag production layout simulation withanalysis material movement. The data collection techniques consist of 2 techniques, namely primary data collection techniques and secondary data collection techniques. From data collection and data analysis and simulation results, the results for improvement are obtained by rearranging a more effective production layout. Of the three simulations that have been made, the simulation is used as a consideration of solving the problem of the layout of the production of bags in the CV. Rumah Warna is the second simulation with the highest percentage of 95,7%. The improvement in the layout is by moving thedivision, cutting which was originally located on the 2nd floor into one floor with other divisions on the 1st floor. It is thus expected to make it easier for employees in the production process and the realization of the effectiveness of the time used.
