Abstract

Karya akhir ini bertujuan untuk mencari serta mengatasi permasalahan yang ditemukan selama melaksanakan magang di PT. Exmud Potensial Kreatif, Materi permasalahan dalam kerja praktek yang diambil adalah proses Mengatasi Masalah Closed seam Quarter tidak rapat Pada Sepatu Brodo Artikel Generic Play Black. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan dua cara yaitu menggunakan metode primer dan metode sekunder, dimana dalam metode primer terdiri dari observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara, dan praktek kerja langsung dengan mengikuti proses pembuatan sepatu brodo artikel generic play black, sedangkan data sekunder menggunakan studi pustaka baik melalui buku ataupun website yang berkaitan dengan permasalahan yang diangkat. Hasil dari pengamatan selama magang permasalahan yang terjadi pada bagian stitching closed seam quarter tidak rapat yang membuat sepatu harus masuk pada data perbaikan (repair). Permasalahan tersebut disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yang dianalisis menggunakan diagram Gfishbone, diantaranya adalah material yang berkualitas jelek, mesin yang tidak stabil, metode penerapan bahan yang tidak tepat, lingkungan yang tidak nyaman, dan ketelitian manusianya. Masalah tersebut dapat diatasi dengan memberikan perlakuan khusus pada komponen quarter, perbaikan-perbaikan mesin secara berkala, penyesetan dibantu dengan pelumas (oil machine), perlunya SOP untuk opersional mesin khususnya proses stitching serta lebih memperhatikan dalam penggunaan jarum yang disesuaikan dengan benangnya serta meningkatkan sistem pengecekan dan ketelitian bagi karyawan dalam melakukan pekerjaan. This final work aims to find and overcome the problems found during the internship at PT.Exmud potential creative, material problems in the work of practice taken is the process of overcoming the problem Closed seam Quarter is not meeting on the shoes Brodo article Generic Play Black.
