Abstract

Tujuan dari penulisan Tugas Akhir ini untuk mencari upaya penanganan kesalahan cetak pada produksi pencetakan lembaran plastik kemasan di mesin cetak RotoGravure. Kesalahan cetak merupakan suatu keadaan dimana penempatan warna tidak sesuai pada tempatnya sehingga terjadi peningkatan limbah plastik pada perusahaan. Untuk mengevaluasi tingkat produktivitas dilakukan pengukuran produktivitas menggunakan metode objektif matriks (OMAX) dengan rasio-rasio yang dianggap sebagai faktor penyebab dari kesalahan cetak melalui pengamatan yang telah dilakukan. Dari hasil produktivitas, ditunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai produktivitas kinerja operator dan kinerja mesin masih belum mendekati sasaran dari target perusahaan. Sebagai upaya penangan dapat dilakukan analisis mengenai akar permasalahan dari kinerja mesin dan kinerja operator yang kemudian diberikan usulan perbaikan. The purpose of this Final Project is to find out how to deal with misprint waste in the production of packaging plastic sheet printing on RotoGravure Printing machines. Misprints are condition where the color placement is not in place therefore there is an increase in plastic waste in the company. To evaluate the level of productivity, productivity measurements were carried out using objective matrix method (OMAX) with ratios considered as factors causing print errors through observations that have been made. The productivity results showed that the average productivity value of operator performance and engine performance was far to the target of the company. As an effort to handle, an analysis can be carried out regarding the root causes of the engine performance and the performance of the operator, which is then given a proposed improvement
