Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze organization performance by implementing Balanced Score Card Model which questionnaire items were developed from Teaching Factory Concept held at Politeknik ATK Yogyakarta. The performance measurement involved the participation of the lecturers, employees, students, alumnus, and enterprises who hire the alumnus of Politeknik ATK Yogyakarta. This research applied a research and development method. Questionnaire, interview, documentation, and observation were utilized to collect the data. Making use of descriptive-quantitative statistics analysis and predicting the measurement results using category were taken to analyze the data. This research gives some results. The first result is that performance measurement that is reliable, comprehensive, measurable, and balanced is needed by Politeknik ATK Yogyakarta, for instance a performance measurement makes use of Balanced Score Card Model whose plan conformed and adopted to Teaching Factory Concept, based on need analysis. The second result shows that Program Studi Teknik Pengolahan Kulit (TPK) has a performance score mean that is better than Program Studi Teknologi Pengolahan Produk Kulit (TPPK) has, reviewed from the four aspects of Balanced Score Card. The third result is that Program Studi TPK and TPPK have performances included in a good category, so the result proves that the organization performance of Politeknik ATK Yogyakarta, based on 4 perspectives of Balanced Score Card, is in a good condition. The last result is that the score mean of the Balanced Score Card of Program Studi TPK and Program Studi TPPK compared with 7 assessment parameter in implementing Teaching Factory gets significant and synergic final results.
