Abstract

Manusia dalam beraktifitas tidak lepas dari alas kaki untuk melindungi telapak kaki dari benda tajam. Dilihat dari segi kegunaan nya sepatu terutama sepatu jenis sport yang menjadi tren di kalangan remaja yang suka berolahraga terutama di bidang olahraga skateboard banyak dari mereka mengeluhkan sepatu mereka cepat sekali rusak pada bagian komponen Toe Cap karena gesekan sepatu dengan Griptape papan skate. Untuk meminimalisir hal tersebut lebih baik dilakukan perancangan desain sepatu skateboard dengan inovasi baru dan dengan pemilihan material yang baik agar sepatu tersebut awet dan tahan lama. Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan metode pengumpulan data yang meliputi observasi wawancara dan kuesioner. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode desain. Sepatu dapat dibuat menggunakan metode tersebut yang nantinya dapat meminimalisir kerusakan pada bagian toe cap sehingga dapat digunakan untuk olahraga skateboard dengan tingkat keawetan yang cukup bagus dan nyaman saat digunakan. The method used is the method of data collection that is equipped with interview observations and questionnaires. The method used is a design method.
