Abstract

Tujuan dari tugas akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui penyebab cacat dan mengurangi cacat gelombang pada lembaran spon sandal jepit. Cacat gelombang adalah cacat berat. Data produksi tahun 2019 menunjukkan bahwa persentase cacat gelombang terbesar yaitu sebesar 0,41%.Cacat gelombang pada lembaran spon sandal jepit disebabkan oleh penggunaan bahan karet alam yang berlebihan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan dalam formulasi yaitu pengurangan penggunaan karetcompo crepe dan penambahan jumlah bahan karet EVA. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan formulasi dapat mengurangi cacat gelombang hingga 0,21% pada lembaran spon sandal jepit. The purpose of this final project is to find out the causes of defects and reduce wave defects on sheet of sponge flip-flops. Wave defect is a major defect. Production data for 2019 showed that the largest percentage of wave defect was 0,41%.Wave defect on flip-flop sponge sheet was caused by excessive use of natural rubber material. The result of analysis showed that the improvement in the formulation was a reduction in the use of rubber crepe compo and the addition of the amount of EVA rubber material. Therefore, improvement to the formulation can reduce wave defect up to 0,21% on flip flops sponge sheet.
