Abstract

PT. Beesco Indonesia merupakan perusahaan yang memproduski sepatu sport merek ASICS yang berlokasi di Karawang, Jawa Barat. Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang terdapat pada proses assembling. Penulis menemukan permasalahan dalam proses assembling yaitu terjadi kerutan pada lining upper. Materi yang diamati dan dipelajari adalah perbaikan lining upper sampel sepatu Gel-Sonoma 5 pada proses assembling di PT. Beesco Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan antara lain: observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, praktek kerja langsung dan studi kepustakaan. Berdasarkan metode tersebut, terdapat beberapa faktor penyebab terjadi kerutan lining upper antara lain: teknik yang digunakan kurang cermat pada saat pemberian lem, tidak adanya pengecekkan proses input laste, tidak terdapat selisih waktu tunggu setelah komponen sepatu diberi lem serta tidak dilakukan proses pengecekkan lem dengan sinar UV (ultra violet). Hasil dari pengamatan yang dilakukan, penulis memberikan solusi yang diusulkan untuk meminimalisir masalah kerutan yang terjadi pada lining upper, antara lain: mengenai penarikan komponen bootie terlebih dahulu, pemberian lem dilakukan dengan cara lebih berhati-hati dan dibantu dengan alat tangkai bahan fiberglass, petunjuk input laste pertama kali harus dilakukan pengecekkan kerataan permukaan komponen lining upper agar dapat dipastikan tidak terdapat kerutan, supaya lem yang sudah diberikan pada komponen dapat berfungsi dengan baik maka setelah proses pengeleman pada area toe, lem dibiarkan terlebih dahulu selama 3-5 menit serta setelah proses pengeleman pada area toe dilakukan pengecekkan kerataan lem dengan sinar UV (ultra violet) solusi tersebut disimpulkan dalam perbaikan SOP pada proses assembling. PT. Beesco Indonesia is a company that manufactures shoes sport ASICS brand located in Karawang, West Java. The purpose of this paper is to solve the problems contained in the process assembling. The author found a problem in the process assembling that is wrinkling on the upper lining. The material observed and studied was the improvement of the upper-lining Gel-Sonoma 5 sample during the process assembling at PT. Beesco Indonesia. The methods used include: observation, interviews, documentation, hands-on work practices and literature studies. Based on this method, there are several factors causing wrinkles upper lining, including: the technique used is not careful when applying glue, there is no checking of the process laste input, there is no difference in the waiting time after the shoe components are given glue and there is no process of checking the glue with UV light (ultra violet). The results of observations made, the authors provide a proposed solution to minimize the problem of wrinkles that occur in the upper lining, including: regarding the withdrawal of the component bootie first, applying glue is done with more caution and assisted with as talk tool fiberglass, instructions input laste must first check the flatness of the component surface upper lining to ensure there are no wrinkles, so that the glue that has been given to the component can function properly then after the process of gluing on the area toe, the glue is left in advance for 3-5 minutes and after the process of gluing on the area is toe done checking the glue evenness with UV light (ultra violet) the solution is concluded in SOP improvements in the process assembling.
