Abstract
Gesture Recognition is a topic in computer science and language technology with the aim of interpreting human movement through mathematical algorithms. In this case it can be used as a translation medium for the deaf to communicate. The main obstacle of deaf-toddler nowadays is the difficulty in communicating with the normal society. It happens because there is no compulsory learning at the level of education for normal people to learn sign language. The method in this research is using Naive Bayesian algorithm to classify alphabet letter of sign language using feature derived from Leap Motion Controller data. The result of classification test of the 26 letters alphabet in Indonesian language is 95% accuracy. Keywords— Gesture Recognation, Sign Language, Naïve Bayesian, Leap Motion Controller, Deaf Education
