Abstract

PT. M Joint Exclusive Leather Craft yang berlokasi di Ds. Klodangan RT. 02 / RW. 26, Berbah, Sleman, Yogyakarta adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang industri produk kulit seperti, tas, dompet, dan sepatu / alas kaki yang memiliki wilayah pemasaran baik skala lokal maupun internasional dengan merek dagang (brand) BUCINI. Perusahaan ini memiliki tiga departemen yang salah satunya bertanggung jawab atas produksi sepatu / alas kaki. Pada departemen produksi sepatu / alas kaki ini penulis melakukan pengamatan terhadap kurangnya penerapan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3). K3 menjadi sangat penting bagi perusahaan karena termasuk dalam faktor pencegahan risiko terjadinya kecelakaan kerja. Oleh sebab itu perusahaan harusnya melakukan tahapan-tahapan pengendalian terkait K3, sehingga mampu mengurangi terjadinya kecelakaan kerja dan Penyakit Akibat Kerja (PAK) di dalam perusahaan. Diterapkannya K3 merupakan upaya untuk menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang aman dan nyaman, sehingga dapat melindungi pekerja yang pada akhirnya akan meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas produksi. Dalam pengamatan ini penulis melakukan analisis risiko yang akan terjadi jika perusahaan kurang menerapkan K3 dan membuat usulan solusi sebagai upaya mengurangi risiko tersebut. Metode pemecahan masalah yang digunakan adalah analisis tentang penerapan K3 di dalam perusahaan, yang mana pengambilan datanya melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang diusulkan terkait masalah kurang diterapkannya K3 di tempat kerja adalah penataan ulang tempat kerja, mendiskusikan dengan manajemen untuk mengadakan sosialisasi kepada pekerja tentang penerapan K3 dan risiko yang ditanggung apabila tidak menggunakan APD di tempat kerja, serta memasang rambu K3 untuk mencegah atau meminimalkan kecelakaan kerja di area yang memiliki potensi bahaya. PT. M Joint Exclusive Leather Craft located in Ds. Klondangan RT. 02 / RW. 26, Brebah, Sleman, Yogyakarta is a company enganged in the industry of leather products such as bags, wallets, and shoes / footwear that has marketing area both locally and internationally with the brand’s trademark BUCINI. The company has three departments one of which is responsible for the production of shoes / footwear. Therefore, the author observe the lack of application of occupational safety and health (K3) at this shoes / footwear production department. K3 becomes very important for the company because it is included in the risk prevention of occupational accidents. So, the company should take steps on K3 related control, as to reduce the occurrence of occupational accidents and occupational disease (PAK) witin the company. The K3 is an effort to create a safe and comfortable work environment , so as to protect workers that will ultimately increase the efficiency and productivity of production. Additionaly, the author performs a risk analysis that will occur if the company is less cast K3 and makes a proposed solution as an effort to reduce such risks in this observation. The troubleshooting method that used is an analysis of the K3 implementation within the company, which takes its data through observation, interviews and documentation. The proposed outcome of the less than K3 in the workplace is the rearrangement of the workplace, discussing with management to conduct socialization with workers on the implementation of K3 and the risks incurred if not use APD in the workplace, and installing K3 signposts to prevent or minimize accidents in areas with potential hazards.
