Abstract

PT. Buccheri Indonesia merupakan perusahaan retail yang menyediakan alas kaki, tas dan dompet yang dibuat dari bahan kulit. Salah satu tahapan yang terdapat pada proses mendesain alas kaki adalah pembuatan sample. Pada proses pembuatan sample ditemukan masalah yaitu terjadi perbaikan desain yang berulang-ulang pada sample alas kaki. Tujuan disusunnya karya akhir adalah untuk mengetahui penyebab terjadinya perbaikan desain yang berulang-ulang pada sample alas kaki, mencari dan mempelajari solusi penyelesaian masalah terjadinya perbaikan desain yang berulang-ulang pada sample alas kaki, dan mengetahui efektivitas dan efisiensi sesudah diterapkan solusi pada permasalahan perbaikan desain yang berulang-ulang pada sample alas kaki. Metode yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan masalah adalah metode eksperimen desain. Hasil dari penyelesaian masalah diperoleh hasil yang lebih efektif dan efisien yaitu terjadi penghematan waktu sebanyak 60 menit dan berkurangnya pekerjaan karena tidak melakukan perbaikan desain pada sample alas kaki. PT. Buccheri Indonesia is a retail company that provides footwear, bags and wallets made from leather materials. One of the stages in the process of designing footwear is making samples. In the process of making samples found a problem that occurred repeated design improvements on the footwear sample. The purpose of the final work is to determine the cause of repeated design improvements on the footwear samples, find and study problem solving solutions for repeated design improvements on footwear samples, and know the effectiveness and efficiency after applied solution to the problem of repeated design improvement on the footwear sample. The method used to resolve the problem is design experiment method. The results of the problem solving obtained more effective and efficient results that occurred time savings of 60 minutes and decreased the work because of not doing design improvement on the footwear sample.
