Abstract

Tujuan dari tugas akhir di PT. Primarindo Asia Infrastructure Tbk Bandung, Jawa Barat adalah untuk mengidentifikasi masalah pada proses lasting yang menyebabkan terhentinya proses produksi, menganalisis penyebab terjadinya kesalahan dan mencari solusi serta mengusulkan perbaikan untuk mengatasi kesalahan tersebut. Materi yang dijadikan sebagai objek dalam pelaksanaan tugas akhir adalah proses lasting sepatu slip on eternity colour black/white untuk gender men dengan size 36-45 (EUR). Metode yang digunakan dalam penyusunan tugas akhir meliputi metode observasi (pengamatan), metode interview (wawancara), metode dokumentasi, metode praktek kerja langsung, metode studi pustaka dan metode studi online. Masalah yang menyebabkan terhentinya proses produksi pada PO I sepatu slip on eternity adalah cacat unstabil foam bagian ujung depan dan kerut bagian belakang. Faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya cacat tersebut berasal dari material, machine, method dan man. Solusi dengan penambahan material 3 mm foam md untuk cacat unstabil foam bagian ujung depan dan material hotmelt lamination serta meraborn 0,6 mm untuk cacat kerut bagian belakang dapat mengatasi masalah tersebut, sehingga sepatu slip on eternity dapat dilanjutkan proses produksinya. The purpose of the final task at PT. Primarindo Asia Infrastructure Tbk Bandung, West Java is to identify problems in the lasting process that causes the production process to be missed, analyzing the causes of errors and finding solutions and fix to resolve the error. The material used as objects in the execution of the final task is the process lasting the shoes slip on eternity colour black/white for gender men with size 36-45 (EUR). The methods used in the preparation of final tasks include observation methods, interview methods, documentation methods, direct working methods, library study methods, and online study methods. The problem that led to the stopping of the production process on the PO I shoes slip on eternity was the unstabilized defect foam front end and the rear wrinkle. Factors that cause defects are derived from material, machine, method, and man. Solution with the addition of material 3 mm foam md for unstabilized defects of front end parts and hotmelt lamination material and meraborn 0.6 mm for rear wrinkle defects can overcome the problem so that the slip-on shoes can be production process.
