Abstract

PT. UTALIYA merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang produksi sepatu. Guna mewujudkan sepatu yang berkualitas baik dalam segi estetika maupun kenyamanan pakai, perlu dibuat sampel terlebih dahulu. Pembuatan sampel sering dijumpai cacat. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab masalah pemasangan rubber sole yang miring pada sampel sepatu artikel S44498 atau dapat dikatakan bahwa outsole tidak centre dengan upper kemudian memberikan solusi mengenai permasalahan yang dibahas. Pengamatan dilakukan mulai dari tanggal 1 Maret hingga 10 Mei 2019 di PT. UTALIYA yang berlokasi di Jalan Karet Kuningan, Gang 21 Nomor 22D, RT.6, RW.2, Kuningan, Karet, Setiabudi, Jakarta Selatan, DKI Jakarta. Metode pelaksanaan tugas akhir dalam pemecahan masalah ini adalah dengan memanfaatkan informasi yang diperoleh saat praktik kerja, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Metode yang digunakan dalam menemukan solusi permasalahan adalah ex post facto yaitu merunut kebelakang terhadap proses yang telah terjadi guna mengetahui faktor penyebab timbulnya kejadian kemudian memberikan solusi perbaikan. Faktor penyebab pemasangan rubber sole yang miring pada sampel sepatu S44498 adalah pembuatan marking centre yang tidak terukur dan tidak adanya SOP, sehingga operator bekerja tanpa standard. Cara untuk mengatasi masalah pemasangan rubber sole yang miring dengan upper adalah dibuat titik centre pada bagian upper dan bottom bagian ujung depan dan belakang secara terukur dengan menggunakan alat ukur agar tepat dan presisi kemudian dibuat sebagai SOP. PT. UTALIYA is a company that engaged in the field of shoes production. To create a good quality shoes in the form of aesthetics and comfort, a sample is needed. Sample creation is often found deformed. This study aims to know factors that cause of deformation, one of them is in the creation of slant rubber sole like the one on shoes sample number S44498 or it can be said that the outsole is not parallel with the upper and to find the solution for problem. The observation was done from March 1st to May 10th, 2019 in PT. Utaliya that is located on Karet Kuningan Street, Block 21 Number 22D, RT. 6 RW. 2, Kuningan, Karet, Setiabudi, South Jakarta, Special Capital Region of Jakarta. The methodology on solving the problem was through the utilization of information that was obtained during work practice. The data was collected through observation, interview, documentation, and literature study. The methodology on finding the solution of the problem is through ex post facto or tracing the proses of production in order to know factors that caused the incident and then giving the solution for the improvement based on logic. Factor that caused slant rubber sole on sample number S44498 were the manufacture of marking centre was not measureable and the absence of standard for operation that made the operator worked without standard. To solve the problem on slant rubber sole installation, a centre spot was made on the upper and bottom parts for both the front end and the back end measurably using measuring instrument so that the size would be precise. The step then could be made as work guide or standard for operation.
