Abstract

PT. Parkland World Indonesia II merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang sepatu sport dengan merek New Balance, yang memproduksi sepatu untuk pria, wanita, dan anak-anak. Karya Akhir memberikan gambaran informatif tentang proses pemotongan material yang terdapat pada perusahaan. Proses pemotongan material pada sepatu sport model WL 996 V2 terdapat masalah color variation sehingga menyebabkan kerugian pada perusahaan. Masalah color variation merupakan masalah paling tinggi pada proses pemotongan material kulit. Metode yang digunakan dalam karya akhir adalah metode pengumpulan data dan metode pengolahan data.Untuk metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan untuk metode pengolahan data menggunakan diagram sebab akibat atau fishbone. Masalah color variation bisa terjadi karena belum menerapkan metode pemotongan. Cara mengatasi masalah color variation adalah dengan cara menerapkan metode pemotongan kulit dan menerapkan proses numbering. PT. Parkland World Indonesia is a company in the field of sport shoes with the brand New Balance, which produces shoes for men, women, and children. The Final Assignment provides information about the description of the process of cutting material in the company. During process of sport shoes material cutting in the WL 996 V2 model there is a color variation problem that causes losses to the company. The problem of color variation is the highest problem in the process of leather material cutting.There are 2 methods used in this Final Assigment; i.eto collect and analyze the data. To collect the data, this Final Assignment uses observation, interview, and documentation, while to analyze it uses causes and effect or fish bone diagram.The problem of color variation can occur because it has not applied the cutting method.The way to overcome the problem of color variation is by applying theleather cutting method and apply the numbering process.
