Abstract

Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah sewing pada tas sling bag feminima. Permasalahan sewing yang terjadi adalah jahitan longgar, jahitan tidak rapi, sisa benang lebih. Sehingga mengakibatkan jahitan tidak sesuai standar, mempengaruhi tampilan, dan kualitas. Pengamatan dilakukan di CV.Dhanivo Leather. Materi yang dipelajari yakni mengatasi masalah jahitan pada tas sling bag feminima. Dalam pembuatan karya akhir ini metode yang digunakan adalah pengamatan secara langsung dan wawancara pada proses sewing dengan karyawan yang terkait, dokumentasi data yang diperoleh secara langsung maupun dari perusahaan dan studi pustaka dengan mencari dasar teori pada literatur yang berhubungan dengan jahitan. Tahapan proses yang dilakukan dalam penyusunan karya akhir adalah pengamatan, pengumpulan data, pembahasan, dan pemecahan masalah. Setelah diketahui faktor penyebab terjadinya masalah sewing pada jahitan tas, dilakukan pencarian solusi guna mengatasi pada masalah jahitan berkurang dan tidak terjadi kembali. Untuk mengatasi masalah jahitan akibat tegangan mesin tidak stabil, tidak ada marking, dan kurang teliti, serta dilakukan pengarahan dan pembelajaran pada karyawan. This final project aims to solve the problem of sewing a women's sling bag. Sewing problems that occur are loose stitches, neat stitching, more thread waste. So that the stitches do not meet the standards, affect the appearance and quality. Observations were made at CV.Dhanivo Leataher. The material learned is to overcome the problem of sewing in a women's sling bag. In making this final assignment the methods used are direct observation and interviews in the sewing process with related employees, documentation of data obtained directly or from the company and literature studies by looking for theoretical foundations in the literature relating to seams. The stages of the process carried out in preparing the final task are observation, data collection, discussion, and problem solving. After finding the cause of the problem of sewing on a puncture bag, a solution was found to overcome the problem of reduced puncture and did not occur again. To overcome the problem of stitching because the engine tension is unstable, there is no sign, and is not rigorous, as well as directing and learning to employees.
