Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh PT Adi Satria Abadi saat ini adalah kulit artikel batting glove yang warnanya tidak rata dan tidak sesuai dengan standar customer sehingga dimasukkan kedalam kualitas reject, yang mengakibatkan penumpukan. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk menemukan pemecahan masalah pada penumpukan kulit crust reject dengan reproses dyeing warna hitam, dan untuk mengetahui tanggapan customer terhadap warna hasil reproses dyeing yang didapat. Materi yang digunakan meliputi kulit crust kambing kualitas reject tebal, dengan tebal 0,8-0,9 mm, sebanyak 168 lembar, berwarna coklat, air, amonia, coralon OT, black MFRD, FA dan fixing FC, dengan luas 1.176 sqft. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, interview, praktek kerja langsung, dan penyelesaian masalah dengan reproses dyeing. Reproses dyeing dilakukan dengan metode trough dyeing menggunakan drum proses. Hasil kulit yang diperoleh berwarna hitam dan rata. Proses reproses dyeing dilakukan dengan 3 tahapan utama yaitu proses bleaching, dyeing dan top dyeing. Dyeing dilakukan dengan metode trough dyeing, sedangkan top dyeing dilakukan dengan metode surface dyeing. Tanggapan customer terhadap hasil kulit yang didapat dari reproses dyeing yaitu kulit warna hitam rata yang sesuai dan diterima. The problem that has to faced in PT Adi Satria Abadi now were the color of batting glove leather article not even and not fulfilling the standard of customer so at least the leather was set in reject quality, and causing stacle problem. This last project aimed to solve the stacle problem crust reject leather with black dyeing reprocess, and to find out customer responses to the result obtained of dyeing reprocess. The raw materials were goat crust leather with thick reject quality, with the thickness of 0,8-0,9 mm, 168 sheet, and the materials were brown colour, water, ammonia, coralon OT, black MFRD, FA, dan fixing FC with the total of 1.176 sqft. The method were observation, interview, live work practice, and the arrangement of dyeing reprocess problem. The dyeing reprocess done with through dyeing process in drum. The result of the process were the leather had a black and flat color. The dyeing reprocess is carried out in 3 mainly stages that is bleaching, dyeing and top dyeing process. Dyeing is done by trough dyeing method, while top dyeing is done by surface dyeing method. Customer response to leather obtained from dyeing reprocess is leather had a flat black color and suitable and acceptable.
