Abstract

Stitching merupakan hal yang sangat penting untuk menentukan tingkat keberhasilan dalam proses produksi pembuatan sepatu. PT. Kharisma Baru Indonesia merupakan cabang dari PT. Rajapaksi Adyaperkasa, yang memiliki brand lokal Santica. Tujuan dari penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab terjadinya permasalahan pada proses stitching upper sepatu astro dan memberikan solusi dari permasalahan tersebut. Materi yang diamati dalam kegiatan penyusunan tugas akhir ini adalah menganalisis kesalahan-kesalahan yang terjadi selama proses produksi, sehingga dari kesalahan tersebut dapat mengganggu dan memperlambat proses produksi. Metode yang digunakan penulis dalam proses pengumpulan data adalah dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, praktik kerja lapangan dan studi literatur. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi masalah, ditemukan permasalahan yang banyak terjadi pada perakitan upper sepatu astro yaitu webbing miring, back counter x-ray, jahit strap miring/melebihi batas tepi dan toe cap off center/miring. Faktor penyebab terjadinya permasalahan tersebut, yaitu komponen tidak dilakukan pengeleman sebelum menjahit sehingga menyebabkan komponen tidak sesuai marking, terlalu banyak pukulan dalam proses hammer dan marking yang kurang jelas. Solusi dari permasalahan tersebut adalah melakukan pengeleman dengan menggunakan botol lem kerucut pada komponen sebelum menjahit dan sebelum melakukan proses hammer, memberikan magnet pembatas jahitan dan memperjelas marking dengan mengganti titik center menjadi garis. Perbaikan ini diharapkan dapat membawa dampak baik bagi perusahaan, sehingga hasil produksi dapat mencapai target dan jumlah cacat berkurang. Stitching is vital to the successful rate in shoe-making production. PT. Kharisma Baru Indonesia is a subsidiary of PT. Rajapaksi Adyaperkasa, who owns the local brand Santica. The purpose of this final assignment is to find out the causes of problems in the upper stitching process of Astro shoes and provide solutions to these problems. The material observed in this final assignment assignment is to analyze the errors that occur during the production process, so from these errors it can disrupt and slow down the production process. The method used by the author in the process of collecting data is by observation, interviews, documentation, field work practices and literature studies. Based on the identification of the problem, there was a lot of problems in the assembly of upper astro shoes - skewed webbing, back counter X-ray, strap sewing skewed and toe cap off center. The cause of the problem, namely the component is not glued before sewing, causing the component to not fit the marking, too many blows in the hammer process and the marking is not clear. The solution to this problem is to do gluing by using a cone glue bottle on the component before sewing and before executing the hammer process, magnetizing stitches and clarifying markings by turning the center into a line. It is hoped that improvements will have a good effect on the company, so that production results can reach the target and reduce the number of defects
